Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Selling my 1948 Willys CJ 2a
1948 Willys CJ2A project. I bought it just like it is. The body on this is in surprisingly good shape, not really rusted through anywhere on the outside. The rockers and bottoms of the fenders are solid. The floor is about the only place that needs patched.
Supposedly the previous owner had the engine rebuilt, but it hasn’t been started yet and I haven’t tried. Turns over freely and has definitely been out. Through the inspection plate, it appears as if the clutch is new too. Brakes don’t currently work. Transmission shifts through all gears as it should.
Here’s what I know are missing: Headlights,tailgate,starter, front seats, and gas tank
I don’t have a title, but I will provide a notarized bill of sale which is what you’ll need to get it registered in this state”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $400.
Looks similar to a late 80s Bobcat body, but the dash is more angled then is should be.

“I have a 1963 Willy’s Jeep Rat Rod. It has a 350 cubic inch engine, wild can so she lopes good and a 350 transmission. Comes with an extra 350 motor. This machine sits on an s-10 frame.
Drives great! And a lot of fun to drive!
