This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I saw this odd Ramsey Winch commemorative(?) plate on eBay and thought it was the oddest looking plate. After winning it and looking at it in person, this plate is even weirder. It turns out the thing is see through. So, when looking at it on a table, it looks black with gold and white designs of jeeps and winches. But, when held up to the window (we discovered this accidentally), it is see through and the illustrations stand out in a different way as you can see.
It is light, some type of glass, and pretty much useless functionally. Given the Gladiator, I would guess this was produced in the mid 1960s.
Thanks to Roger Martin, we have some early pics from the Toledo Jeep Fest. It is happening this weekend. You can see his FC with the Ottawa Factory Mounted Backhoe on it. He had to work hard to get it ready for this weekend’s event.

A gun on a Jeepster?
“For sale is a 1950 Willys Jeepster. Professionally repainted approximately five years ago for military style theme. No body rust. Ford V6 with 4-speed manual. Runs and drives just fine, selling to free up space. Front seats were redone as well during body restoration. As seen, mostly original parts throughout.
Comes with real-size M2 Browning machine gun model for the rear gun mount. Also included is the rear seat and the frame for the convertible top. Always stored indoors.”

TJ spotted this one. It won’t start at the moment, but does include an ice cream freezer. Looks like a good price.
