This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/02/2018) Seller lists this as a 1947 CJ-2A, but it looks more like a CJ-3A with its lack of bumper gussets and the drip tray under the hood.

“I have an all original Willys CJ3A, even the original factory wheels.
I got it from the original owner and it’s been in dry storage ever since.
The engine runs really well, but needs a new water pump, battery, etc.
I have a video of it running.
The transfer case shifts fine but the trans won’t shift and I have never had it apart to check on it.
It has all of the normal, common issues the old Willys jeeps usually have.
It needs a full restoration.
It has a better windshield and hood now, different from what the photos show.
I can throw in a better tub for a full price offer.
I am not in a hurry to sell, I really don’t need to sell it other than for space.
I don’t need any help selling it and low ball offers will simply be ignored.”
