About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
TJ spotted this one. It won’t start at the moment, but does include an ice cream freezer. Looks like a good price.
“I have a right side driver old mail jeep that was used as a ice cream jeep. It has clear title. Has a speaker and music . stored inside. Comes with freezer you just need ice and your in business. It won’t start. It trys.”
“Titled as a 1946 Willy’s. It sits on a cj frame, has a 1975 k20 driveline with a Ford 9″ outback. Locking front hubs. Brand new edelbrock carb, runs and rides good. 83 1/2″ wheelbase and very very light. Do have the window frame just no glass. This thing flys. New 33’s on pretty new rims. May trade for small block Chevy, built go kart, or older muscle car”
“47 Cj 2a jeep willys. Runs and drives and stops but has cracked block. Attempted to repair then bought second jeep for new block but have yet to pull and rebuild. The story is that the engine in the red jeep is rebuilt. I can not stand behind that. It runs great I was going to take the two and make one. frame is solid! Been restored from the ground up many years ago. Text 9-89/38-8/17-12
Price is for both jeeps, this is a great deal. Looking to get some of my money back. New radiator, water pump, then I found the hair line crack. Still ran and drove great. Price is firm.”
“original style flat head 4 cyl. engine and T-90 transmission, still running 6-volt generator system. Has not ran for 6-8 years. Been in the same family since new – 69 years.”
(07/26/2018) The frame’s been modified up front. That’s an unusual holder for the winch.
“Nice -running registered Willy’s from Washington state -nice patina , new tires needs some TLC about 100 hrs on rebuilt motor .Has PTO winch works great-a real untouch willys and drives and shifts sweet .if it’s posted its still available thanks”
“1950 Press Photo Troops haul floating jeep from water in training at Camp McCoy.
This is an original press photo. Troops of the pioneer and ammunition platoon of the 14th regimental combat team haul a floating jeep from the water in a demonstration of “flotation expedients” for civilian competent organizations training at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. Parts of the team, a regular army unit on detached service from Camp Carson, Colorado, conduct demonstrations in all phases of infantry training for national guard, ROTC and ORC units at summer encampments.
