“1944 Press Photo World War II – American Jeep Crosses Siegfried Line. This is an original press photo. World War II – Through a gap in the “dragon’s teeth” barricade of the Siegfried line goes a Yank jeep. It carries a machine gun. The picture was taken in Germany near Aachen as American forces advanced into enemy territory. United States, Germany, wars. Photo measures 11 x 6.75 inches. Photo is dated 09-20-1944.”
I don’t run across to many photos of jeeps on ships going to Korea.

It’s been converted to a floor shift, but has full floating hubs and tool indents.

(02/10/2018) “I have a 1946 CJ2A for sale. This has been a project over the last 6 years. It was being built to do route 66 Chicago to Ca, my brother and I were going to do but he died suddenly so the project stopped. Well its finished except for a new tub. Warn overdrive!
Here is what the jeep has that is NEW

4 shocks
Brakes all 4 and drums
Wheel cylinders brakes

Warn locking hubs
Gas tank
Gas tank sending unit
Wiring harness
Steering wheel
Radiator
Electric fan
Carburetor
Converted to 12Volts
Transmission with over drive rebuilt
K&N air filter
Water pump and Thermostat
Head lights and Tail lights
The bad is body its alright if you are going to drive it but not show. It has rust on floors but a quick repair was done.It has been painted inside and out. Grill, hood and both fenders are good. Body can be saved if you can weld.
Seats are not original they are high back buckets.
I have the following original parts that were taken off: generator, radiator,fan blades, oil bath air filter.
I’m sure there is stuff I’m missing but don’t have my notes in front of me. Ready to drive anywhere.”

“Mostly complete CJ3A. The tub is in decent shape although the dash has a large hole where the gauges used to be. The frame is straight with a saginaw manual gear box. It is set up for a buick V6. It does not include an engine but I do have the tranny, t-case, and drive shafts that came out of it, along with an extra set of axles. The floor is not rotted out and and the tub straight. I do have the windshield frame (not in picture). This is a great starter project for a restoration, hot rod, or rat rod.”
