Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1948 Willys CJ-2a flat fender Jeep. Has a full cab hard top, a half cab hard top, and two CJ-3a windshield frames. One windshield is cracked but the other is in good shape. Engine spins over by hand easily, but I haven’t tried starting it. It’s been converted to 12V and has an interesting hydraulic system hooked up using a power steering pump. |

| 1953 Willys Jeep M38A1 CJ5 No Title Project prerry good condition overall. Good frame suspension and driveline. Has 11″ brakes and kind of a disc brake on transfer case. Some military stuff left , tow points, 24 volt generator, msc. Body has the bumps and bruises you would expect. Tool box floor is good but rim lid sits on is rusted. Floor under fuel tank has rust, tank looks good . Drivers floor has rust through on hat channel. Passenger floor looks good but rust in hat channel. Engine ,F-head 4cyc, is disassembled looks to have spun a rod bearing . 3 spd trans and 2 spd t-case feel ok . Battery box rusted through. No drivers seat frame . $2500 |

| Selling my rare “barn find” time capsule rig that came from the original family. Check the last photo for how she was during her “Heyday”. She is a 1968 Jeep J3000 Gladiator with factory Buick 350 “Dauntless V8”. She has a 1965-68 Mitchell Camper that has been on her during her entire life. I have now gotten the Jeep running/driving/stopping great but it needs the timing adjusted in order to go down the road. Still lots of tinkering to be done. The Mitchell camper could use some love as well but it’s all there and a very nice start to an easy winter |

There are Original Willy’s engine bearings, little bags of roller bearings, light switches, u bolts, the steering arm and bolt kit I think was about $300 last time I looked. There’s a new complete carrier and spider gears for a 27A axle that’s not available anymore. Bunch of stuff. |

| 1968 Jeep CJ-5 225 Dauntless $1,750 Bozeman, MT |
| INFORMATION FROM SELLER: |
| 1968 Dauntless 225 odd fire engine, Borg Warner T-14 3 speed and Dana 18 twin stick. Frame and axles are from a 1964 Scout 80. 4.27 gearing. Everything works, just drove it into the shop when I removed the body. Hook up 12v and pour gas in it and it will run. This is one of the greatest engines ever built. Runs well, but I can hear the start of a rod knock when it is under load. Transmission, transfer case and lockouts all work. Trans does NOT pop out of second gear. Tires are better than rollers. The flywheel was resurfaced, new throwout and pressure plate. I think it might have new wheel cylinders all around as well. $2,000 OBO – can part out if the deal is right. |
