These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This brochure has a form number of CJ3A-M1-250M-9-49, which seems to indicate it was published in September of 1949. Some of the art for this brochure was completed a year and a half earlier for a newspaper ad (see bottom of post).
“Older frame off restoration. Approximately 6k miles since complete. 4.3l vortec, Weber carb, edlebrock intake. T-18 4spd, Dana 300. Dana 44 rear with Detroit locker, Dana 30 front with spartan. Geared in 3.73. Warn manual locking hugs. Full soft top/doors and Bimini top. New bestop seats. New fuel cell. Power steering and breaks with manual rear gain. Electric brake lock for front. New 33” cooper tires less than 3k miles ago. Starts every time even in the extreme New England cold. Runs great. 3/4” body lift with comfortableish suspension. Does amazing on and off road. Comfortable at 65mph. I’ve had her at 80.7 on the highway which required a change of underwear $13k OBO. May be interested in trades for the right classic car, motorcycle or truck but cash is king.”

“1955 jeep forward control cab on a heavy duty 4×4 chassis. Has a mid engine 454. This is a home made 4×4 that has been sitting a long time. Not sure what the chassis came from. Would make a good off road machine.”
“What you are looking at is an original Willys Jeep hard top. The top is in very good shape and complete minus the back glass. The windows roll up and down and the latches work great. I will have it off the Jeep today or tomorrow. This will fit the CJ2A Willys or the CJ3A, M38, MB or Ford GPW if you use a CJ2A windshield.”
