About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This jeep is pretty much all original.. the only thing that was changed was being converted to a 12v system.. I just put new tires, seats and steering wheel.. all gauges work.. runs great. Asking 3700 O.B.O. please call”
This does have a hard-to-find Meyer Super Cab, but outside of that there’s nothing particularly rare here. Looks pretty solid. I’m not sure why there is a red X on the driver’s die where the mirror should be.

“1949 Willy’s for sale. Chevy 283, with 350 heads (I believe). Runs great! interior has a small tear on left side of the driver’s seat where the side and the top meet. It is covered with black gorilla tape and it works fine, exterior could use new paint, but I get compliments all the time. No idea what the actual mileage is, odometer reads 80,384.
The top is white and is in good shape, except the pull tab on the back window broke off. I use pliers to open and close it, but the top stays down 95% of the time.
This Jeepster comes with all side curtains and a black boot to cover for the top when it’s down. The transmission has been converted to automatic, accessory fan with on/off switch added to cool the motor, was told it has a chrysler front end, and floats a bit when driven, but it’s a 1949! There is some rust inside the wheel well and on the undercarriage. This would be a very simple, resto vehicle.
This is a fun car to own, selling it for family reasons.”
“1961 Jeep/Willys FC-170 pick up with 9 foot bed.
Original snow blade by Myers included.
Extra parts and service manual included.
Will need to be moved on trailer or roll back wrecker.”
There could be some value here. Has a few upgrades.
“I can show on weekends only. I do enjoy meeting new people from CL, but please be a serious buyer looking for a classic Willys Jeep, as I don’t have spare time to just talk shop these days. Price is OBO.
Original family owned since bought from military surplus in the early 70’s. Converted to off roader in the 70’s.
Jeep Dauntless V6 tuned up and runs perfect
T90 Military transmission just rebuilt
T18 Military transfer case just rebuilt
Exhaust system rebuilt
Retains original Military ordinance plate
Very clean interior
Rancho suspension
Upgraded steering
12 Volt
Stewart Warner gauges all functional
Runs excellent and rides smooth and easy. The body was restored in the 70’s and has had lots of lumps and bruises since then. It’s solid, but if you’re not into the “aged” or “patina” or “surface rust” or “1970’s time-capsule” look, this may not be for you.”
Both jeeps are projects at this point. Only a pic of the 3A provided.
“Two Willys Jeeps Both in need of restoration but VERY complete… Both ran and drove recently but both are partially disassembled for restoration. Both will need new tubs, and not much else except elbow grease…. . The ’53 comes with a title ! $1200 would be a decent price for one of these… only have pictures of the ’53 as I post this…. pictures of the more disassembled ’48 are available if you’re interested…”
“It has brand new plugs brand new points with with a new rotor and cap that is also brand new and clean fuel lines it will fire up just don’t have time to fix it that is why I’m selling it”
