This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I don’t see this one lasting long.
The Suttons entered their jeep into an antique auto parade and came away with a trophy. It might not be a pristine antique vehicle, but it sure looks like they are enjoying it!

Nice frame off restoration of a 1964 DJ-3A. You can see it has a gov tag on the dash.

Beautiful new canvas top, doors, and side curtains as original. Seats also redone original pattern olive vinyl. Ultra rare factory special order Willys Borg Warner automatic transmission! Believed to be the only drivable survivor with a factory automatic transmission. Runs great, fun to drive.”

“1953 Willy’s Jeep CJ3A 4 speed with a chevy V8. Warren overdrive, power steering, full cage rollbar, 10 in brakes, 10 in tires, tilt wheel, rear seat, corvette aluminum cross flow radiator, and a 4 barrel carborator. Not sure on the miles but no more than 15,000. We are asking $7000.00. Jeep has been in the garage its whole life and is in great shape. This is a fun jeep!”
Has a variety of updates. May have a replacement body that’s a mix of an MB and CJ.

What are the protruding discs on each side of the jeep’s cowl?
“Jeep has been in family for about 40 years. All stock type running gear but probably not original. Runs and drives great with recent total rebuild of brake system due to long time storage. Clean California title, currently on non-op.”

“This is a 1955 M38A1 in very good condition. very clean inside and out, it has been stored in a warehouse since its purchase in 2014. this is a 24v system with a clean generator, newer brake lines, and carb. Would be very nice to add to the collection or to take in a parade. It has 40,334 miles on the vehicle. Killswitch added to keep form any draw on the batteries/keep it from getting stolen. asking 10K or best reasonable offer. ”
Looks like a solid jeep with some updates, but it’s not “a well-preserved example of a CJ-2A”. IT may have a military body.

“This is an excellent, well preserved example of a cj2a Willys Jeep. Original Go Devil flathead engine, 3speed t-90 with overdrive! Odometer reads just a few ticks past 20,000 miles. I have three sets of tires for it, and price is negotiable depending on which tires are sold with it. It has a soft top, and doors. I also have a roll bar for it. It comes with a bumper pull hitch so you can flat tow it behind your truck or rv. This jeep is the real deal. It does exactly what it was built to do. I’m about 90% sure the engine has never been taken apart. 12 volt battery.”
