About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“These hubcaps are very rare, not sure what year they are from but I’m guessing from the 60s. They do have some dings and marks on them but overall in good condition. These are driver quality parts.”
“Very Rare! Rust Free! Montana Title – 1951Willys Panel Truck. Has Ford running gear. It doesn’t Run, but I have the title. Ready for your Hot Rod build. Call Lloyd for more information. He’s old and doesn’t do the internet or texting.”
Thanks to Roger Martin for sharing these Saturday morning photos from the Bantam Festival’s jeep history display. You can see Roger’s M-677 and his FC Fire Truck in a couple photos.
This 22 page brochure is something I found on a non-ebay auction. I had to buy it with some other stuff I already had, but I couldn’t pass up this rare (perhaps 1-of-a-kind) brochure. I hope it helps someone down the line.
This tiny LRDG-styled lighter is something I’d been keeping an eye out for. It’s smaller than I expected, just slightly larger than a biz card (or in this case a Fred Smiley’s old club card, which is something that accompanied a different purchase). I forgot to take a photo of the bottom, but there’s no identifying information there.
“Two 2X 1960 Jeep/WILLY F150 trucks 4X4 They were being restored one seems to have a brand new engine and lots of bodywork on it. One is titled couldn’t find the paperwork on the other so it’s going as a parts car..”
“Up for sale is a 1946 Willys CJ-2A farm Jeep. It sits in its all original condition. Never any metal patch work and or re paints. Does not currently run. Has PTO with lift and governor underneath the hood. All original gauges, seats, top bow brackets, paint, wheels and tires. Truly a special rare restoration project.”
