About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1949 Jeep Willys. Has been completely restored from frame up. All body and mechanical done. Drive great. Has less than 100 miles since restoration. Was my fathers, now selling to settle estate.”
“Willys 1949 CJ3A with M100 Trailer. We’ve put a lot of work into restoring this jeep. I have a canvas top and frame also. I have receipts for all parts and work that has been done. Everything on brakes has been replaced new. Carburetor rebuilt by Old Jeep Carbs. New gauges and all new wiring. New alternator, starter, exhaust, hoses, and other items. Body is in excellent shape.”
“Needs some body work but runs good and in overall good shape and engine is solid. Has new starter, gas tank and lines, brake lines, exhaust system. 4-wheel drive was redone 3 or 4 years ago. Carburetor was rebuilt a few years back. comes with extra set of used wheels.”
“I have a 61 Willy’s two wheel drive. It was used at the airport to move luggage. Has a 4 cylinder engine. The engine doesn’t run but does have compression and spare. Body is in decent shape with rust. Grill is in good shape windshield is gone but frame is there. The Odometer says 35000. I do have the original title for the Jeep. Bought to put on a cj5 frame but to much work to make it fit. Gave 700 hundred for it just trying to get that back or trade for tub, fenders , grill etc for 74 cj5.”
“For sale is a 1974 jeep cj-5 I bought it as a project but never had time for it. It’s mostly complete, but the engine is torn apart. Transfer case is halfway torn apart and i didnt touch the tranny. Have both driveshafts and the axles are good. I have the yj (pictured) that I was going to put the drivetrain from that in the cj5. It has the 4.2 6cyl and 5 speed. Id let that go as well for $1500 extra. I will not sell it separately
I have the title for both and the yj runs and drives. $900 for the cj5 and all of its parts and $2000 for both. Would trade for an enclosed trailer”
“For parts or rebuild project or projects. White is a 53 jeep cj5, 4 cylinder overhead valve engine. Engine was rebuilt years ago and was running and driving when parked, used it for plowing but not in years. Red/White is i believe a 48 cj2 or cj2a, believe it has the flathead 4. Has been sitting the same way for years, also have a rolling chassis. All have been sitting outside and have titles. All manual trans with manual transfer case. The rolling frame has the rear pto option. If I remember correctly there also is an extra flathead 4 engine disassembled and has been sitting under cover. If interested contact to set up a time to look at and make offer.”
“All the running gears are with the body… body in rough shape but motor trans and all parts still there waiting for a rebuild!!! My father has 2 of these and will never have the time to fix this one!! Hate to see it just sit and rust to the ground….. please call or text if interested (title in hand!!!!)”
“Hard top came off of a 1946 CJ2A. I have both doors and the rear hatch for it. Glass is cracked on most windows. But otherwise looks in pretty good shape”
