About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Nice little flat fender jeep that runs and drives very well. Been converted to 12 volt flat-head 4 cylinder runs strong; great T90 tranny – doesn’t jump out of 2nd gear like so many others; new items include: tub, fuel tank, fan belt, spark plugs, front bumper, pintle/ball hitch (2″) & upholstery. Tires are in great shape. Make a great hunting rig, farm jeep, parade jeep, toy or whatever.”
“Convertable, 350, 4bbl, PS, PB, tilt column shift, New heights power rack, Disc brake front end, Nova rear, Great driver, Solid body, Emerald green paint, Tan interier, Rear tire continental kit included.

“I am selling this 1948 Willy’s that I took on trade and want to buy another truck so this one needs to have a new home. It runs great and the former owner told me it dose not have many hours on it sense being built. With summer coming up it will make some one a very cool ride.
Another extended 2A out of the Northwest. Seller seems convinced it was lengthened by a spray company, but it manner of extension looks similar to other “CJ-2Ls” we’ve seen (and rumored to have been built by a Spokane Jeep dealer many years ago).
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep Rough shape, could be restored, lot of work. Engine runs need to clean carb. Rust in fuel line plugs carb float. Burns oil, unit sat for lot of years before I got it. Was going to fix up but am moving. Frame and body were extended by a spray applicator company to carry a sprayer, 24″ longer. has the PTO on the transmission, but missing the gear box on back, body has rust issues. Have title but it was never changed from a previous owner. It has the front fenders hood and grill, they are off and in the back. Fenders grill and hood are actually in the best shape, The bars for the cab in the one picture, are gone, but the windshield is there”
“Willy’s Jeep for sale. Purchase this Jeep and take it out off-roading immediately or take some time restoring it to your liking. If you’re looking for a jeep with no scratches, dents, bondo or rust, this isn’t the jeep for you. If you’re looking for a jeep to take out on the trails and not worry about scratching it, or if you’re looking for a restoration project, this is it. This jeep has been upgraded with a Dana 30 open knuckle front differential with a loc-rite locker, Dana 44 rear differential with posi-traction, both have 5:38 gears. The transmission was recently rebuilt and is tight. This jeep has a strong Buick 225 V-6 engine giving it plenty of power for those difficult climbs. It also has power steering and the tires have great tread. I have had the jeep for 20 years and I am just not using it any longer. I also have quite a few spare parts that will go along with the jeep.”
“1964 CJ 6. Willys Jeep – $10,000. (Wife says I have over $30000 in it.) I have had it 30 years. Great condition. Garage kept. Chevrolet 400 small block with 400 Turbo hydro auto. Trans., Edelbrock high rise, terminator cam, 600 Holly, 3000 rpm stall converter. The original engine and parts are included. No rust! I’m selling it because I’m downsizing.
Cash or cashier’s check only. No scams. Don’t waste my time.”
I don’t know about ‘gem’, but it remains hidden (under a tarp).
“I have found a hidden gem! I am selling my 1948 Willys Jeep that has a small block Chevrolet upgrade around 1960’s ish,,, (exact year unknown for engine swap) has a soft top, a full matched set of Aluminum Slots from the 60s that are all good. with a clean title. Due to disabilities and a divorce unfortunately I have to pass this one on. I’m looking for the right person that will restore her to enjoy and preserve. I looked for this Jeep for a long time and offer it with no joy. My asking price $5,000 OBO I will be available to take time to hear and consider all reasonable offers and I will consider trades etc… , I ask only for reasonable and serious offers! Keep in mind I looked a long time before I found this Jeep and I haven’t seen any like it since I found it a decade ago! Selling to private party only. No advertisers, sales persons, or dealers will be entertained. If you feel you are the right person to take over where I can not continue to provide hope for this Hidden Gem to be allowed shine again for decades to come.”
