About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I hate to do this, but I am finally ready to sell my 1947 4WD Army Jeep and trailer. It’s a CJ2a, restored, new seats, new top, great tires, new clutch and throw-out bearing, and the transmission has been totally rebuilt. I made it into a Military Police Jeep with a working siren, faux M-1 carbine in a rifle holder at the base of the windshield, ax and shovel mounted and a military trailer to pull behind. The engine is original, and if the speedometer is correct (and I believe it is), there is 28,000 miles on her. It will go about 50+ MPH, but with the military tires, I like to stay around 40. The overall length of both the Jeep and trailer is 21 feet. I restored it myself and have used it in numerous area parades. The looks and thumbs up I get can’t be counted. Folks are so appreciative to see a working WWII era Jeep. Of course, during the 5 years I have owned it, she has been garage kept.”
“1952 Willys m38-a1. This is the military version of the cj5. It runs well, drives, steers and stops as it should. I was planning on driving it this summer, but I’m a bigger guy, and it is pretty tight fit for me.
This is an older restoration that is showing its age. The paint is starting to chip away, there are oil leaks, some of the patches are starting to show, but overall it appears mechanically sound and driveable.
The parking brake works, as do the vacuum operated wipers. It has been converted to 12 volt and the second battery compartment was removed to fit in a heater. The top is in good shape. 4wd works great. It has a rear seat. Asking $3950.00. I would consider trading for another antique vehicle.”
“I have what’s left of a wwii willys jeep from a parts jeep I bought still some good parts but body tub is pretty much done but frame and axles are good has front seats outer windshield there but need some work military truck”
“1961 Willis Jeep – FOR SALE POSSIBLE TRADE?
This is a really rustic jeep, runs and drives good. This was given to me by my dad before he passed away with cancer. I have had bearings, starter, belts, radiator, exhaust including manifold replaced. I only drive to store and around neighborhood. Lights and signals work. Has current registration through next year. Rear brakes work, front breaks were disconnected. New Speedometer Fun to drive. I have the original metal top and doors as well
Need the space in my garage. Has bonded title as my dad lost and could not find after he passed. ”
