About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1946 CJ-2A $7,500 OBO
Every part has been rebuilt, remanufactured or is new on this CJ; everything is rust free. I haven’t driven it. It turns over, but the points have not been set. Wiring is period correct with heavy gauge cloth covered wires for the 6 volt system.
The jeep has an overdrive installed so highway speeds are attainable, but the PTO winch is disabled because of it. I do have the parts for the winch if you would like to re-install it.
The original axles, T case, 3 speed manual transmission and 134 CID flat head “Go Devil” engine have all been rebuilt out of state in Dassel, Minnesota at Northstar Willy’s. The radiator has been repaired and tested. I have all the parts for the oil bath air filter, but have installed a small K&N filter.
Gauges, coil mounted ignition key, vacuum wiper motor and special order heater are also new or rebuilt. I have the original bows and struts for the canvas top, but no canvas. Seats are re-upholstered, fuel tank is new and new floor matting is installed. Bias ply tires are new as well.
I have most of the receipts.
Project is 90% done with parts for most of the remaining work. I don’t have the time or interest to work on it anymore. I’m sure it will make someone happy, its a great looking, old school rig.”
“M38. Jeep is in great shape. This jeep was built over the last 24 months. Tons of $ and time have been put into this jeep. Everything was either rebuilt or replaced. Rebuilt trans has less than 10 miles on it. Runs, Drives and stops like a M38 should. Has a title. No top or doors. $8000 Cash or trade for something old and cool with wheels.”

“1952 Willys Jeep with V8 302 engine and 4 speed trans with Warn overdrive. Installed with Advance Adapters kit. New 20×10″ wheels with 33″ tires. Factory dana front and rear. 4wd works great. Has top frame and doors but needs top skin. Engine has electronic ignition conversion. Runs great. Body is excellent for it’s age with very little rust. All lights work. Front bumper doubles as an air tank. Fun little toy. Clear NC title.”
“This jeep has had a high end restoration started that is not far from being finished. The chassis and drivetrain are finished and like new with all new parts. It has an all new body kit along with extra original hood and tailgate. There is also $1,600.00 in new parts to finish the restoration. There is around $16,000.00 invested in this Jeep. Also has title. If interested please call. I do not text good.”
“1940 something army jeep for sale. Has new tires, shocks, fuel pump. Needs restoring. Runs and yard drives. I don’t need any help selling. I don’t buy or sell on Saturday.”
“Up for sale is a complete early Land Rover. It will need a full restoration and new frame. Very rough shape. I’m not very knowledgeable on these at all. Come take a look and make an offer in person. Will not ship or any of that happy bullshit. No title. Doesn’t run. Not looking for trades unless it’s an old jeep or something along those lines.”
