About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

There’s a battle over older Jeepneys in the Philippines. The issue was raised as early as 2013, based on a BBC report, but has been revived according to the report below.
“The Philippines has revived plans to remove jeepneys that are older than 10 years from Manila’s gridlocked streets, stirring a fresh debate on the fate of the iconic vehicles that have been chugging along the streets since the 1950s.
The Philippine government and society have been talking about the “jeepney phaseout” for decades and the new “jeepney modernization” plan is an attempt to cut traffic emissions and ease the ever-worsening traffic congestion currently gripping the Philippine capital.
However, jeepney operators and drivers are up in arms over the planned measure, saying it is meant to kill off small transport operators in the country.”

“This is a 1951 Willys Overland.
Last year it was modified by previous owner:
year 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Engine (V8 Vortec)
year 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Front Suspension
year 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Disk brakes up front, drum brakes back
It´s in really good shape, runs great, feels much safer and steadier than before, and has no rust. It´s no longer a 4×4 and it is rear wheel drive.
This Jeep Overland is a Mexican car with a clean title, and will be legally imported to the U.S through San Diego if a buyer is found. I can also arrange for the truck to be shipped anywhere in U.S at buyer´s´expense.”
Seller has two FC-170s for sale. The Busy Bee FC is the dually. Neither have titles. Both run and drive and seller indicates he has spent $8k on mechanicals on both. The bodies aren’t perfect. Seller planned to get bonded titles, but has decided to sell them instead. Contact seller via schuh1us@hbci.com. Seller also has an M-38 for sale.
“M38 Military Jeep 1952. Came off an Air Force base in S. D; sold to a farm next to the base; Air Force blue original paint can be seen under the orange; Jeep runs and is in fair shape; body has a rusted out area on one side under the door; otherwise body is pretty good; Arctic top has a dent on drivers side and could be pounded out; also comes with an original non arctic top; these M38 Jeeps are getting hard to find in any shape; This one has been upgraded with the M38A-1 coveted F Head engine! ”
“1958 United States Willys Navy Jeep CJ 3B, Barn find at estate sale. Chassis off frame restoration in process, mechanically nearly completed. Tub and all sheet metal blasted and primed. Matching numbers. Very well done and in excellent condition. Needs body work and paint and final assembly.”
