About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

SEVERAL HUNDRED HOURS OF THE OWNER’S LABOR”
“There are not a lot of this model around. It has the taller hood to make room for the overhead engine. I bought the jeep for $2000 about 2 years ago. I put 1800 work of repairs into it and I am just trying to break even now. New: Wiring harness, brakes, carburetor, tires, some gaskets, lights, blinkers, batteries, and all kinds of other parts. All work done by a great mechanic. The body has been patched is areas. It has been repainted (yellow). It runs and drives good and straight. (as good as a 1950’s jeep does) Great little jeep for cruising around town or the backroads.4 cylinder and 4 wheel drive
3 speed manual trans
I just pulled it out of storage today, turned it over and it fired right up. No smoke, idles and runs great.”
“Rare year, M38 clone, jeep is in nice shape for the year. This is a project that should be an easy fix for someone willing to take the time. Started frame off restoration, frame was painted, no rust and bumpers have also been straightened. T90 transmission will bolt up to a V8. I will include the two motors i have with it (134 Hurricane and Flathead 4 go’ devil) and a lot of extra parts. The jeep needs to be wired for 12 v. I have all the motor parts from when it was 6 v included. Jeep tub is in really nice shape and sheet metal is straight. This jeep is titled in WI in my name. Serious offers will be considered. Scammers do not call. I will not accept checks and arrange a delivery service to pickup.”
“1954 Willy’s Pick up truck, almost completely disassembled. Original driveline is long gone. Complete cab, bed, front and rear fenders, hood, grille, doors, all hardware is bagged and labeled. Some parts where stripped of paint and now have light surface rust. Frame was professionally boxed out ($1000) to support a high torque engine. I haven’t had the time to finish this project and I won’t for a while, so I either sell it or it sits and waits. Not looking to part out but if enough people are interested in different parts I will. Nothing on this truck is perfect (rust/dings/etc) but it is all repairable. The worst parts are the 2 rear fenders. I do have the original seat as well, needs to be recovered. Sorry for the crappy pics, it is buried in a garage right now. I am open to trades or cash. First pic is how I bought it.”
Paul’s made more progress on his M-100 trailer restoration/transformation into stainless steel.
He wrote, Twelve cut and bent stainless steel tie downs for the M100 trailer with two original tie downs (one has been straightened) along with four replacement stainless reflector bodies just above an original reflector body.
The old reflector and the new replacement reflectors. The replacement tie down hooks and the reflectors will join the other repaired or fabricated parts in the crawlspace under the house until needed.
Also in the crawlspace are the duplicate sides and front and rear panels (18 gauge stainless steel) for the M100 trailer box. The gnarly looking hunk of what appears to be a dinosaur bone just to the right of the metal panels is actually an odd piece of wood from a coffee tree.
