About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I’m selling my Jeep DJ5, I’ve just lost interest in this project and have other ones that I am more interested in. It’s a 1975 Jeep DJ5 with a 232 6 Cylinder. Needs some work and has some body damage on the left rear corner but I have some body panels that will work for the repair. All parts that I have will go with it. I’m looking to downsize what I have.”
“this is a very rare 1965 kaiser jeep fleetvan, it was originally a mail delivery vehicle and is now restomoded and can be easily turned into whatever you need it to be! the transmission is the original 3-speed Borg-Warner 35 automatic that has been freshly rebuilt by the same company that has serviced them locally since the 60s.
The engine is the original 2.2L F4-134 Hurricane inline 4 cylinder runs very well and has been completely gone through and doesn’t leak or burn any oil , this kaiser jeep fleetvan has been completely gone through, with all new glass and rubber, new tires, new wheels and hub caps, all new brakes (lines and all!) all new suspension all new wiring all new lights, led turn signals led brake lights and stop lights! new paint (sand blasted to bare metal before paint and bodywork was done) no rust whatsoever!
New stereo and ice cream music box ! new sheet metal! it has the works!! I have progression pictures as well if you are interested , almost everything is new in this cool old fleetvan great for an ice cream truck or a delivery truck for your business!!!”
Nick’ selling this CJ-5 with a 3 point hitch. It’s got some early CJ-5 items including that hard-to-find-speedometer. It looks like the pointer broke in the same space mine did.
“This is a 1955 Willys CJ5 farm Jeep. It is complete with an all original drivetrain, and a rear PTO along with a 3-point hitch. I have a title. I found this on a farm just an hour away from Toledo, Ohio.
Engine is an original F-head, it is free and has spark. I rewired the ignition system. The exhaust valves are stuck open and will need to addressed before it can run. The starter works and with a couple plugs off, it did fire.
Gas tank holds fuel and the fuel lines have been cleaned. Tires have dryrot but hold air. Carb is clean on the inside. Frame is good and solid. Body has front floor patches but is overall good shape.
Transmission and tcase shift very smooth. The PTO shifter is stuck. All the 3-point system is free and moves well. The hydraulic pump is disconnected from the engine as I didn’t know if there was fluid in it. I also have soft top bows and door frames. Overall this is a great Jeep with period correct agricultural attachments.
“Looking to trade my 4×4 jeep for a two wheel drive truck or small suv that can be used for hunting. Jeep ran before distributor was chabged to electronic. Have old points also. Brand new water pump, new carburetor , has both doors and glass and nice clean title…. trade for projects too. Old classic trucks old motorcycles. Bobber ??? Cash works too.. maybe a nice welder”
Looks like a skin or something else has been applied to the body’s exterior.
“A rare find! 1947 Jeep Willys. Recently had major work done to engine. New interior and soft top by Beechwood Canvas. Beautiful red, fresh paint. 18k MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER!”
“This is an awesome running jeep with good brakes, extra set of tires, extra engine and parts, extra frame, extra drive lines, extra axles, extra gauges, and so on.
A 1950 willys m38 body and frame with a willys engine from a cj3a, the rear axle is from the cj and has smaller drums than the front. Titled as the cj3a. The engine was completely rebuilt with new rod and main bearings being .040 and .060 over while the cylinders and pistons are .040 over. The jeep has an extra engine that came from a military generator and has all of the idler and running components still on the engine. The generator went bad while the power plant was still in good running condition.
You have to take it all, 15 years and 4 jeeps involved.
This is well worth more than $4000, so be honest with offers.
Never needed help selling anything, so don’t offer”
