Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willy’s CJ2A. Has a fiberglass body. Has been rewired, new brake lines, gas line and gas tank. Has a 2″ lift kit. Stock drivetrain. Great for a hunting rig or around town or the woods. Top speed is 45mph. Needs a trans seal and a clutch tires are dry rotted. Has lock out hubs. Show bar. Will trade for a motorcycle of equal value.”
