This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has a GPW head on the engine.
“Selling 1953 jeep cj2a. Put battery on it just to see if it turns over and it does. Make a good project for somebody. Took driver seat out and put it in barn so dogs wouldn’t tear it up. Also pulled gas tank off.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Seller indicates it turns and shifts fine.
“For sale $500.00 OBO. The PTO, driveshaft and gearbox, It was mounted on jeep CJ2a. The PTO will mount to any dana 18 transfer case. This jeep has been out of service for 30 years, (it was in a shop, covered with a tarp), I got it running, tested PTO the it shifts and turns fine.”

Project.
“Selling my 1948 Willys CJ2a Rolling Chassis project. Body is complete (tube, fenders, hood, grill(x2), windshield frame). Jeep is currently a roller and is missing Motor, Trans, and Tcase. Have Clear title for it as well.”
Maybe some value for the right person.

“Basket Case Jeep project Parts Kit.
Contains:
1 – 1953 CJ5
1 – M38a1 Military Jeep
1 – 1974 CJ5
Have titles for the 1953 and 1974 CJ5’s.
All are basket cases or parts vehicles, none of these run or move.
The 1953 Jeep CJ5 W/title:
Stock F-Head 4-cyl 3-spd Dana model 18 T-case
Original rear axle w/5.38 gears.
Front axle housing had been removed but comes with, missing brake parts.
Some one started some kind of a power steering conversion and axle swap then lost interest.
Jeep has been sitting for a long time, engine still turns, could easily run yet.
Body – front fenders are soft/crunchy. Hood and grill are ok.
Rest of body is super solid – made from 11-gage steel, from the floor up!
Body is prett well done, and looks pretty good. Very solid and super strong.

Seller claims no rust, yet there’s a patch in the passenger side.
“1954 willy 3b high hood. Rebuilt motor and tranny. Original 4 cylinder, new radiator, windshield and brakes, line lock brake system. Both seats good shape ..no rips. No rust in floor board ect.”

Looks like a late-model CJ-2A. Has an abundance of character.

“The bodies are a little rough just needs to be all fixed up. Have both hoods and fenders and have the 47 grill”
Seller mentions an overdrive, so there might be value here.
“Frame solid. Body has slight rust but not bad at all. The “Hurricane” 4 cylinder engine is sitting in the back of the Jeep. Previous owner said it ran but said it had a coolant leak. The coolant leak was the head gasket. Has 4-speed with overdrive. Also has BFGoodrich 31″ tires with excellent tread on aftermarket 15″ wheels. Was going to drop the engine in and drive just like it is but moving situations forced me to sell. Has a CLEAN TITLE.”

(09/09/2017) Something a little different. Seller is upfront about the paint quality.
“48 Willys Jeepster Roadster (not convertable) Ford Aspire front wheel drive, 4 cyl, 5 speed manual. Rides & drives great. The paint & body work are not slick (not as nice as pictures indicate)”
UPDATE: Price was “no price”; now $7500.
(09/28/2017) “Original top and racks included, original paint in great condition, leather for seats and tires replaced 10 years ago. In great working order, wonderful for off-roading. Minimal use in last 10 years”
