This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I don’t know much about them, but there doesn’t appear to be much to them. This one will be accompanied by a clean title and has the factory plate on the passenger side. “Complete, Straight & Original Jeep minus the Engine Block. Many Engine parts, including the Carburetor and Intake, Starter, Oil Fill Tube, Flywheel, Starter, etc. are with this Jeep but the Engine block itself is missing. Transmission & Transfer Case and all 4 Wheel Drive Parts are with this Jeep and have not been tampered with.
This is a really straight original Jeep. The Seats are Both Original and the Gas Tank is not rusted out. Floors are very good with a few holes in the bed floor but otherwise good. Body has little to no rust out in the usual places where a Jeep rusts out. The whole Jeep is very clean over all. Grill is super straight and tail gate is original and the straightest tail gate ( see pics ) that I’ve ever seen on one of these vehicles! I love the spare tire rack with original wheel and the original tow hitch is still in place. This Jeep is almost 70 years old!
Should be an easy restore for anyone wanting one of these Vintage Jeeps.
Delivery to your door is available & negotiable. The small vintage 1940s trailer shown in the photos is also For Sale separately. This trailer is a perfect size and companion for this Jeep.”
The seller neglects to mention the body is made up of a CJ-2A and CJ-5 (and is damaged).

The 4wheel drive works and it has been painted with historically accurate WWII symbols. It has been converted to a 12 volt system. The photo is dated 12/09/no year. I suspect this is photo from a mid 1950s South Padre Island Jeep Jamboree in Texas.

This is a typical stretch of the rugged terrain through which the Jeeps traveled in the obstacle course event of the jeep jamboree. Autos – Jeeps Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 12-09-NONE.”
Steve spotted this unique dump hoist.
“Antique Dump Hoist For Willy’s Jeep Utility Pick up, 1/2 ton, late 1950’s to early 1960’s, with 226 inline 6 engine.
Had this hoist installed on a 1953 Willy’s Utility Pickup, Belt driven, with mechanical clutch.
Now the hoist is installed on a custom utility trailer built with a 1960 Willy’s Utility Wagon Frame and is operated with an electric power unit.
Have engine driven pump, tank, and hoist.
Have original manufacturer parts, installation, and instruction books plus some original blueprints.
The cylinders had to be replaced due to damage from moisture. The new cylinders are of the same dimensions and the cylinder bases were reused to retain the same mounting to the hoist frame.
This hoist will only fit the old style Willy’s Utility Pick up.
Cash is desired. Can arrange for shipping, but cost of shipping is above the asking price, and payment is required in advance.”
