This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The 2A looks like a good candidate for a rebuild. The 3A is a parts jeep.
“I have a 1947 Willys Jeep. It is painted yellow although my plan was to repaint in Army green. Body in very good condition as is frame – no rust. Does not run, but ready to be rebuilt. I have about $1,200 of boxed parts including a new wiring harness and new radiator. Additionally I have an extra set of tires and rims and a second jeep, 1953, of the same model to use for parts.”

“Selling my dads jeep, had a frame on restore years ago. it is in good shape runs and drives good. Could use someone to tinker with it to make it perfect. Needs battery, still 6v may get one soon. This jeep is all there no bs. It’s the real deal all original. This is over 70 years old and would make a great addition to any collection. 15,000.00 obo no trades.”
Looks like a clean build, but I need more pics to be convinced it’s the “best looking truck on the planet”.
“The best looking truck on the Planet~~~. I have had this comment several times for various people. I’m not sure about it but if not, its damn close! Multi-year project to bring this awesome machine to the fantastic condition and performance level that it is today. This muscle truck has a high end Chevy 350 with a 700 R automatic transmission as well as Power steering, power brakes, custom oak interior, mounted on a 4 link, etc, etc, etc…. It drives so smooth at highway speeds you think you’re driving a new truck,….and essentially you are! Everything done right!

(02/01/2017) Lots of updates.
“1947 CJ2A body on a 1974 CJ5 frame. 327 cubic inch Chevy engine, 3 speed manual, four wheel drive, rear lockers. This was basically a frame off restoration. The engine was rebuilt and everything is either new or refurbished. Front disk brakes, new gauges. The odometer was set to zero when the engine was finished. The frame and body were sand blasted and painted. No rust or body damage. Custom seats, power steering, new Bestop soft top. Windshield wipers and a heater have been added for Colorado weather. Reverse shackle leaf springs for improved handling, tilt steering. It runs and drives great. Good Offroad setup. I inherited this jeep so I don’t have some of the specifics on certain parts. The price is fair and firm. It needs to be seen to be appreciated.”

Seller is moving to Alabama from NY. The jeep is currently in NY.
“1959 cabover with factory pto dump bed frame. Runs, drives, stops. Good tires. Restore a very collectable Jeep and have the coolest truck in Alabama.
It’s currently at my shop in upstate N.Y. moving to Deatsville this week.
Just trying to see if there’s interest there. If so, I’ll bring it this trip.”

Appears to have Allstate hubs. Comes with extra parts.
“This is a 1958 willys fc150 jeep . It needs a complete restoration or has a lot of useable parts. It includes a set of fc170 axles,two fiberglass rear fender ,the stock front flares ,and a set of “patch panels” salvaged from another willys to repair the rear cab corners Also includes a vintage myer plow with with counterweight. I do have the fc170 frame if you wish to convert it.I am taking offers needs to be sold.”
It has a non-running 283, but looks like a good start to a restoration. Body appears straight and seems to have only some light surface rust.
“Selling my 1963 willys wagen. Clean title on hand. It has a 283 chevy and original transmission, 4×4. The willys has all windows and all chrome, interior is complete no tears, very superficial rust NO RUST wholes. Very rare vihicle and hard to find in the condition that mine is in. The wagon is Not running, title on hand, no ebay, pay pall, or shipping. I do not need help selling it. Price is 3800 o.b.o cash offers on hand.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $250.
Could be a good price.
“Selling a rear PTO gear box and drive shaft off of a 1959 cj3b. Gear box comes with a cluster of v groove pulleys but they can be removed from the splined pto shaft. Gear box spins free but would benefit from a rebuild. I have the shifter assembly but it is frozen up. $250 or possibly trade for other Willy’s parts.”

“I got a 1959 jeep Willy for sale, has a 4 cut engine but it is seized. Would be a great project for somone, body is all there rust isn’t to bad but does have some. No hole in the frame. Don’t have title but can do a bill of sale. 500 bucks or trade for a quad or dirt bike”
