About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“We purchased this Hurst 8/2/2011 from Pittsburgh. A private collector had it in storage in Utah for a while. Since we’ve had it we having done the following Front seat recovered Transmission seal replaced Engine rebuilt 10″ drum conversion Installed power assist brake system New shocks New tires Front bumper restored New heater core 79,316 miles on old engine Vehicle is currently non running. New engine installed ( zero time), transmission and transfer case installed. Linkage needs to be reinstalled. Electric system needs to be reinstalled. Fuel lines & water lines need to be hooked up. Some rust on front floor pans and rocker panels. Tailgate has usual rust for a Jeep. Was a great runner, but was rebuilt due to thrown rod. Had PA inspection in 2012. Has not run since 2013 when engine transmission and transfer case were removed. We have increasing run out of time for this project , we would love to sell it to someone who would enjoy it more.”
“1948 Willys Jeep Wagoneer Rat Rod, 2 door, 267 Chevy V-8, cam gears, 350 automatic, power steering, power brakes, aluminum wheels, nice stereo, two full bench seats, dual exhaust with flow masters, flat black with red cloth interior, starts, runs and drives great, very fast, full set of gauges, have extra parts two hoods and more, needs nothing, this is a rat rod, not a show car, not perfect, gets lots of attention, clean, clear KY title in my name, prefer to trade, like street rods, old trucks, Corvettes, Chevelles, Camaros, Firebirds, sorry no time for projects, boats or bikes.”

New ignition switch. Newer seats. Tow bar. Bikini top. Jerry can with spout. New alternator. New mufflers. I drive this jeep on weekends and it’s a blast to drive. Still needs minor work. Body is in primer.”
I can’t tell if this has rear floating hubs or not. Sports a V6.
“Jeep for sale, has been used as a hunting jeep. Same owner since 1986. Vin number MB432550 not pictured is the windshield assembly, the front tow bar and winch that goes with it. It has a 1956 V 6 Buick engine. Can be restored to original.”
“I’m selling my grandpa’s old Jeep. It’s in great shape for it’s age. It has a small lift, 31in tires which have plenty of life left, runs on a Ford 6cyl I6. 3 Speed on the floor shifts great. Brand new carburetor and fuel tank, runs great! The lights work except one tail light. Brake lines are new, drums have been turned and inspected by Porter’s in Kearney. Comes with roll cage, PTO driven winch w/drive shaft (works!) and has a clean Missouri title! 4×4 shifts easy and works great.
Drive it home! We don’t need help selling it, and while we expect to negotiate on the price, no silly offers and no, I don’t want your xbox. Email only, I’ll provide my number if you’re serious.”
“Unknown Year because I cannot find a VIN on it. However it does have a CHP blue tag but is out of the system. Body is solid, frame is solid, great roller. Have no parts for it. Does not have a drive train only has axles and wheels. 4 wheel Drive No title. Bill of sale only. Missing tailgate.
Was going to use for my son but decided to go a different route. Great for parts or full restoration if wanted to take on this project.
Vehicle will be sold as is NO parts in the vehicle. Vehicle is Bare. The seats that you see in the back of the Jeep are not for Sale.”
“Wagon runs good, 2WD, 6-226, original 12v. Body good, interior needs finishing. Comes with spare 3 speed manual transmission. Great car, just have too many things going on and no time to finish it the way it deserves to be finished.”
(07/07/2015) This looks to be a good price. It’s an Ansul Model Dry Chemical Fire Truck serial #320. The FC serial number is 61568 19861.
“1961 Jeep Forward Control (FC-170) 4WD. 6192 miles on speedometer. It used to be a chemical fire truck in Cold Bay, Alaska. It now has a flat bed on the back. Much work has been done on this truck to make it a reliable vehicle for running errands. It would not keep up with traffic out on the highway (top speed might be 50 without an overdrive). It has a 226 CI Continental engine, 3 speed manual transmission, two speed transfer case, 5.38 differentials, locking hubs. This would make a great rig for hunting. It definitely gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. There is some minor rust-through at the bottom of the driver’s door. Both doors shut easily; windows crank up and down easily; all glass is good. I am asking for $7,000. I will not accept lower offers or trades.”
