About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This 1950 Willys Overland Station Wagon is extremely rare and in pristine condition. Extremely clean! This is a collectors dream! The vehicle is simply beautiful! “This is a really solid, good driving, original 1960 Willys wagon two door maverick edition. And it has been well taken care of over the years and runs and drives really good giving it’s original status. The “super hurricane” flat head straight six engine starts and runs like a top. The drivetrain is solid, it has a manual three speed transmission with an overdrive also referred to as a “brownie gear”four-wheel-drive shifts and works good too. Has no problem starting or getting around even during winter some of the more recent work that has been done to it includes new clutch, new gas tank, new brake lines, new fuel pump, and new battery.”
“This jeep is in great shape. It runs good and is very reliable. It was restored with new paint 10 years ago. It is a driver. Only issues is I have never bothered to sort out taillight wiring and the speedometer does not work. It has a new set of ndt tires and original wheels.”
“I hate to do this, but I’ve had an unexpected financial burden hit me and need to free up some cash…
I’m selling mt 1948 Willys CJ2a. It has a Buick Oddfire V6, T90 3 speed transmission and Dana 18 t-case. The rear axle is Dana 41 and front Dana 27, 4.38 gears. It has a set of worn 265/75/15 BFG All Terrains. I’ve rebuilt the seats with new foam and covers, have new seat pans that have yet to be installed. I rebuilt the rear brakes with new wheel cylinders and shoes and upgraded to disc brakes in the front. I have rebuilt the carb, it has new spark plugs. It fires up pretty easily and runs great. The exhaust was re-done, it’s a little cheesy but it works. It runs and drives pretty good as it, but needs a proportioning valve installed (which I have). The headlights work, the brake lights need work and don’t function at the moment. The frame is solid, but there is some hokey welding on it. Body is decent, but has a big rust hole in the passenger rear tub.
It’s a great little Willys that runs and drives as is, but needs some finishing (prop. valve) and minor tinkering from there to be a fun play Flatty. I really hate to sell it, wouldn’t if I didn’t need cash.”
The photo sure looks vintage (too bad the new trucks are in the background).
“1956 willys wagon. Chevy 350. T90 3 speed with dana 18 transfer case. Dana 25 up front and dana 44 in back. Dual exhaust. Runs great. Transfer case needs some work. Aside from that, everything functions as it should. Frame is excellent. Body looks good but has some areas that need work. Interior and wood is good. Great buggy that turns heads everywhere it goes. Make an offer”
“This antique Jeepster was stored in a barn for 38 years. Since I acquired it last year it has been recommissioned mechanically and cosmetically. It is now titled and is fun to drive around town. It has a push button starter on the floor and is a 3 on the column standard shift with a cable operated Overdrive. This convertible with side curtains comfortably rolls along at 40 to 50 mph and seats up to 6.
It has a new fuel tank and sender, reman fuel pump and carb, new wide white wall tires, brakes, exhaust, shocks and a complete new wiring harness. The black interior, top and carpeting are in reasonably good used condition. The paint is patch work of touch ups but the result is a comfortable usable finish like your favorite set of jeans. If you are serious about buying this Jeepster I will take you out for a drive.”
