This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve seen worse trucks for more.
“I have a mid 50’s willys pickup truck for sale. Its a 4wd, manual transmission, Super Hurricane 6 truck. Everything is there a little rough shape. It would make a good rat rod style truck. I do not have a title but can give some information on how to get one. Just looking to get rid of it because I have too many projects and decided it would be too long before I can get to this one.”

The fenders are a little odd.
“I have a set of aluminum body parts for an early jeep. Lightweight. Hood, grill, fenders”
The engine needs rebuilding. The body and interior look in good shape. May include a Warn OD.
“Hunting/fishing vehicle and towed on occasion so very few miles were ever actually accrued. Odometer reads 57,391.4. Engine was remove to be rebuilt and my dad fell ill. Was stored indoors for years but has been covered outside and the California heat is taking its toll. Body is straight, no engine and no side mirrors, front and rear bumpers match but not original, all windows good but passenger windshield has one crack (can see in photo). Has what I believe to be a Warn Overdrive installed. Told one or two panels with rust that will need replacing but also told everything is surface rust and nothing needs to be replaced. Inside is in very good condition as photos will illustrate. No cracks in seats, original wood, knobs, gages, stickers, etc. More photos and details available”

Doesn’t run. Looks like it has a rare fiberglass bobcat tear drop hood.

“A REAL Jeep, from when “men were men” ! 4 wheel drive, high/low,1948 beauty that runs and drives great. Original flathead “devil dog” motor.
Recent maintenance included full tune up, oil change, brakes, new solenoid, new gaskets etc. (approx. $1000)
New spare tire, other tires almost new. All lights work, blinkers added. Blast to drive. Flathead 4 cyl. Willys, 3 speed on the floor.”

Has no engine.
“1946ish Jeep CJ-2A. No engine, otherwise complete. Lots of bondo and rust. Great for yard art, project build or just annoying the heck out of your spouse.”

(01/14/2017) Has a variety of updates.
“1947 Willys, flat fender
Built 1972 V6 Buick with a 4 barrel Edelbrock carb.
Hooker headers.
Running gear is solid, has been gone through, new drivelines etc.
Custom built rims for this Jeep that accommodate a wider tire, 31 x 15 / 10 15 L on it now.
Has 3/4 ton brake cylinders and brakes on it.
Has a lift on it, not sure how high, 3 or 4 inch.
Has an 8,000lb Warn wench.
Jeep runs and drives like a top. No big spots of rust or anything, seats need recovered and has a couple minor things to be fixed or updated. ”
2. He also share this link. There are a series of WWII/Present photos. You drag your cursor over the photo and it changes to the present. It includes informative captions. In one photo there’s the front end of a jeep (can you find it?) and in a second one, are some soldiers unloading an odd mini-bike (at least I am not familiar with it).
