These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This appears to have a set of the later Free-Lock hubs with tabs.

Looks in stock, good shape, but will need some maintenance.

Looks solid, but it’s a big price for just being a solid jeep.

Seller describes this as a “Korean War original”, but it is clearly civilian.

“Selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A Flat Fender Jeep. Jeep is in very good condition for a near 70 year old vehicle. Original 4 cylinder flathead engine that runs great. 4 wd works fine. 12 volt conversion with alternator, new tires, new master cylinder, new fuel pump near new battery, tow bar. Clean NC title. If you are familiar with flat fender Willys Jeeps, you know they are some of the most rugged and fun vehicles ever made. Not a show Jeep by any means, but a solid unmolested vehicle ready to enjoy as is. If your looking for a high speed interstate cruiser keep looking. Please call if interested. (05/05/2017) Has updated engine. Needs some work.
“1964 CJ3B High Hood Willys. Light restoration about 15 years ago. Has a late model HEI Buick V 6 swap done correctly. All stock otherwise. Solid enough to be a retro wheeler as is. Had it running and driving last fall. Needs fuel system revamped and brakes completely redone. Clean Tennessee title in hand. ”

Has some minor updates.
“1951 M38 Willys Jeep with near mint body and arctic top. Jeep has not ran in a couple of years but should run with fresh gas and new batteries. This would be an excellent Jeep to restore. I also have the trailer that was towed behind these Jeeps in the Army. Trailer is the M100 m-100 but will not be included in the sell. Trailer sold separately. ”
