Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “All stock flat fender jeep, new 16 inch ND firestone tires, carb kit, master cylinder kit, new knuckle seals. Flat head L-134 Starts and runs good, all gauges work, heater, electric wiper motor, stock seats, soft top is in fair condition. Channels in frame are good, very little rust on tub. Please call with any other questions. Have other spare parts to include.”

Engine, Transmission and Transfer Case rebuilt at time of conversion
No rust
Body off, all rust removed from frame, and body primed and painted in 2001
Has been garaged since that time
11×2 inch self adjusting aftermarket brake system installed in 2003 brakes work great
Clean title
Have owned vehicle since 1972
Has tow bar used as off road only since bringing to Colorado in 1987
Engine probably equivalent to 20,000 miles use since rebuild

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A
This is the first model of civilian jeeps produced after WWII.
Jeep does need work. It will start… sometimes. When I pulled it out of the driveway to take pictures of it to sell, the brakes were not working. I haven’t checked into why, so it could be an easy fix or may not be. Jeep has a Tennessee title.
The jeep is mostly original parts and is about 99% complete with the exception of windshield wipers and possibly some odd things that I don’t know about. I also have manuals that come with the jeep (more than likely they are reprints).
Jeep has a 4 cylinder flat head engine, 3 speed transmission, and is 4WD.”
This includes a PTO driven winch.
