About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Hi cl. I’m selling my jeep project. It is a 1951 cj3a. It has a 1967 Chevy 350. It was just rebuilt by a reputable local shop. It’s bored .060 over new Pistons, rings, cam, lifters, gaskets, the heads were rebuilt and it has a 4 barrel edelbrock manifold. It cost me 1500 just in the rebuild. The jeep tub is in decent shape just surface rust. I am in the middle of building a new frame for it out of 2×4 box steel. I was going to use a set of j10 axles I have that are 65″ wms Dana 44’s I have a nice set of rims and matching 38″ swamped to go with it. I have pretty much everything to complete it on the new chassis but out of time and money. My wife totaled her car and I need to sell asap. Call or text for more info”
“This is a real army issue willys that was in the korean war which means it has a lot of heavy duty upgrades from the civilian model, it’s pretty much all original except the front bench seat but i have the stock buckets too and the front bumper trailer hitch for towing it as well. Just had a brand new carb and fuel pump put on it and the thing runs great and only has 30,000 miles on it! This thing gets lots of attention and is a blast to drive and will climb up anything!
I love this little willys jeep and don’t really want to sell it but current situations demand it.

Here’s a letter on a jeep illustrated letterhead, one I’ve never seen.
“An original World War Two letter including the envelope written by Cliff Brandow who was in the 256th Field Artillery. This letter is dated Oct. 18, 1943. It has the logo of a jeep with soldiers and says, Camp Gordon Augusta Georgia. I currently have other letters written by this individual listed. The letter is in very good condition, with some light wear, the cover has wear.”
“The Last year of the 3B Hi hood and I was told that this is the only year the hard top on the 3B was a factory installed. This is the original (colors match) hard top for this jeep. I am the 3rd owner. It runs well and drives good. Body is rusty as you can see. It is all there and all original. All the Glass is perfect. Engine starts easily and sounds great.”
“The First year of the “Hi Hood” to accommodate the New F head Hurricane overhead valve engine with more horsepower than the flat head of previous years.
This is all original and needs very little to be usable or easy restoration. These are getting very rare. This jeep has a straight body and only a little rust.
The engine runs and sounds great.”
“1964 Willy’s Jeep. Jeep is in really good shape and would make a great resto project or hunting buggy. Has running 4 CYL motor but will need a battery, also needs brakes. Has stright axle front and rear. Very minimal rust. Will be sold with Bill Of Sale only. But a title will be easy to come up with”
