Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a ford 1942 ford GPW jeep (like a willies) runs and drives, not original motor, but it is the same. body and frame numbers match, I have decided I do not want to spend the time to restore this jeep. If you are interested text me an offer. All gears work, 4×4 works, lights work.”
Given the winch, this is a good price.
“I’m selling my 1955 Willys. I am the third owner, I bought the Jeep from a relative of the original owner. It runs and drives well, although it is made for the trail, not the highway. Car is in good condition except for a few spots of minor rust and some dings and dents, which are expected for a 60 year old car. Car is a 3-speed manual with a modest 4cyl motor. Car has a soft top with doors and also a roll bar. Only reason I’m selling it is because I have too many cars now and I’ve ran out of space on my driveway.”

Looks like the bed has been replaced with diamond plate.
“1956 Willys Pickup. 350 Motor. Fun truck and perfect project to get finished up and driving. I bought the truck with the intent for a project and a recent job change keeps more of my time than I’d imagined it would. The truck will start but it needs the transmission and brakes need to be hooked up in order to be driven. $5,500 O.B.O. You don’t see a lot of these trucks now a days and this would be the perfect project. Clean title in my name. ”

“I have 2 willy’s pickups for sale. The 1952 has engine and transmission, starter just rebuilt and new battery. The 1949 has just the body and parts of an engine. These are in good condition. Buyer must buy both. There also is a cab of another willy’s pickup and other parts. All goes for $2500 firm.”

“I have a very rare hard to find original ford script tub jeep. Ford was only able to brand their tub for a few months in 1942 before the government made them stop. There are very few of these original jeeps still around. I have a 134L engine for extra money. It comes with transmission and transfer case. Someone started putting power steering in it. No seats. It comes as you see it in the pictures. Its a full restoration project. Please call, text or email any questions. Clean clear title.”

Needs work. Body doesn’t look too bad.
“1947 willys CJ2A. L head 4 cyl. Runs, sort of. Stops, sort of. Rebuilt original carter carb. Shifts, pops out of 2nd (common on T90s). 4wd works fine. Needs lots of little things. Would make a good grocery getter or farm rig. If you’re looking for something to put in a museum, keep looking. I have the starter pulled right now, was going to put original 2A starter in, but someone previously changed flywheel. Can put 3A starter back in or you can replace flywheel and put 2A starter in. Tub has lots of rust. Replaced hood. It’s all there. Collector plates and clean title in hand. Email, text or call. $1750 OBO. ”
Probably a CJ-2A. It’s listed as a 1942.
