This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a rare FJ-6 Mail Truck. So we’ll star with rarely does not necessarily equate to value. This mail truck is sold for parts or repair. There is an engine block with no head and no transmission. Both axles an extra Whiting roll-up door; extra front and rear bumper are included. Most of the glass is included. There is enough here to do a restoration.”

“hi there, i have a bunch of willys jeep parts for sale. to many to list all of them.
i do have 16 inch wheels, 15 inch wheels, frames for a cj2a cj3a m38 military jeep, heads for the l134, gpw and cj2a cj3a fenders, engine blocks, gauges, driveshafts, dana 44, 41, 27, 25 axles–(not shown in pics) steering columns, starters, generators, pulleys, t90 transmissions, t18 transfer cases. cj2a, cj3a,cj5, m38a1, gpw, pickup and m38 hoods. got a Buick dauntless 225 v6 with for and a jeepster 161 f head engine. both of those turn freely. i got radiators, willys pickup passenger front fender…… and the list goes on and on. what you see is what i have right now. stuff is always selling and pics my not be up to date. but gives you an idea of what i have. feel free to call text or email me with what you are looking for. ill see if i have it and ill give you a price. i am open to trades or possibly other jeep parts.”

“1943 Willy’s MB, original Flathead 4 cylinder motor Willy’s go devil engine, 3 speed Manuel. Willy’s stamped on back panel. Original World War Two Jeep needs some work everything original except wheels, tires and gas tank”
This was reconditioned by the Moore Company. There were 2,443 jeeps done by them. It has since gone through other alterations.

The rear wheel wheels have been trimmed some.
“Very good project. New brakes drums and a new hub on one wheel, rebuilt starter, newer gas tank, new clutch pedal, and LOTs of new and used parts that I have for it, that have yet to be needed or installed, including electronic distributor, and a brake master cylinder. Its very mechanically sound. I had the head milled, and put a new head gasket on it. All it needs is a battery charge, and new gas and she’ll run and drive like the day she rolled off the assembly line. I have a mechanics manual for it too. Price is negotiable, however low ballers need not apply. I don’t have to sell it, and its garaged so I’d just assume keep it than let it go for a low ball price. Also keep in mind, its a project jeep, so if you pick it apart and tell me everything you find hoping to get it cheap, I’ll just walk away. I’m not an asshole, but this isn’t my first time selling on craigslist. Call or text.”

(11/26/2016) Has an incorrect grille. Drain holes are filled. Other minor changes.
“Older restoration, good body and interior. Cranks and runs great, just replaced engine. Over $10,000.00 invested including initial buy. The seats are not original but were used to accommodate a bigger driver, (I’m 6′ 2” and 300 pounds) but I have the original seats and some spare parts. The complete electrical system was replaced by Claxton Auto Electric four years ago and it is converted from 6 to 12 volt system. Jeep has 82nd Airborne paint scheme and Michelin road tires versus the old military “knobbie” tires for a better ride on the highway. I have only put 1,000 miles on it, using it for local parades, etc. Four wheel drive works perfectly but has only been used on highway the seven plus years I have owned it. Only serious buyers need to respond, I’m very close on my price; cash only…..no trades.”
