About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1961 Jeep Willys station wagon, 6-226, 4×4, 90s restoration, garage kept. Very few miles put on since restoration. All original except transmission, transfer case, and engine block. Have receipts for parts, mechanics manual, and master parts list. California vehicle.”
It’s a project. Listed as a 3A, it looks more like an M-38.
“52 Willys cj3a. Bought for a toy and mostly everything worked, clutch started going out so I decided to pull the motor and tranny, and planned to restore/beef up. However unexpected expenses are forcing me to sell.. motor is a 60s buick 3.8L v6 odd fire. 300v8 pistons, light cam, offenhouser intake manifold, Carter 400cfm carb, flow master dual exhaust. Ran fine when I pulled it, just smoked a little on start up, was just gonna go through it and do a little cleanup and replace gaskets, but runs strong as is. Saginaw 4speed. 4wd works fine. 4 wheel disc brakes. Tires are recaps, fine for the woods but rough on the street. I do have the title and a complete parts list with numbers for everything not original”
“Complete PTO Assembly from 1948 CJ-2A. Will fit other models such as MB, GPW, CJ-3A. From transfer case drive unit to rear belt drive pulley. Some seals and drive shaft u-joints replaced with new parts. All parts cleaned and checked. This is an operational unit. Great add-on to your early agricultural or civilian jeep. VERY heavy to ship. $2500.00
Can deliver to east coast shows this spring or MVPA Convention in Cleveland, Ohio June 22-25th 2017. E mail for more pictures or details. Thank you very much.”
“UP FOR SALE, RESTORED 1951 JEEP WILLYS OVERLAND CJ3A. This Jeep is an older restoration, but it still looks great. It was restored by an man in Ky, then it sat on display in a dealership in Murray Ky until the dealership closed. It is all original with the flat head four engine. Tires still like new. Just installed a new carburetor. NADA Average retail is $14,650, & High retail $23,300. This Jeep definitely fits between those two categories. My price is well below that. Detailed pictures are included. Please review all pictures. All sales are final…$12,500 or trade for ????”
“What you see is what you get an extremely rare military jeep in great restorable condition. I purchased last year with the intention to restore it but an injury forced sale. I’ve never seen one before, you never will again either. It’s def one of the last and one of the few remaining, and probably the best overall condition wise. At some point it was switched to s a small block Chevy, otherwise appears all original. Non running no title Bill of sale only”
Paul Barry of Willys America shared these photos he took from the 2017 Portland Swap Meet at the Portland Expo Center. The black truck is priced at $12,000. The red wagon has no engine. The other two trucks are rough.
