About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For sale our beloved Blue Willy’s Jeep that has taken us on many trail rides, ice cream runs, fun summer trips and forest road trail drives. We are the 4th owner of “Eddy” and now it is time for someone else to enjoy the many benefits of owning a Piece of American History. Why sell Eddy? Another project demands his place in the garage, and it is time to move Eddy to a new loving home. Continue reading →

“I have a 50’s era Willy’s Jeep in disrepair sitting on some property I purchased. I hate to see it rotting away so anything that’s salvageable from it I would like to sell or just get rid of. I would like to make something on it as I know it does have some value especially the windshield.
What I have is a complete frame with axels tires and wheels, steering wheel, gauges, windshield w/ frame. I live in International Falls, MN but I will be down at my property in another week or so and can get more useful pictures. Make me an offer on what you want. The property I own is about 20 minutes southwest of Orr so we can arrange to meet there if you want. No title on this jeep so it will be sold for parts”
(02/12/2016) Looks like the sides have some bondo.

(See yesterday’s post here) — Today we traveled from Yuma to Tucson, but not before I went to prison. It all started innocently enough. I went to take my shower in the morning. When I got out, I caught my wife surfing a jeep site other than eWillys!!! I thought about divorce, but it seemed like she’d get off easy. After extensive thought, I decided to tie her to some train tracks and let the train run over her. That’s reasonable, right?
The problem was, the darn train came to a stop a few feet from her. Who’d have thought that would happen? Not wanting to get caught, I tried to untie her, but that’s when the police showed up. It turns out that justice is metered out quickly at Yuma. The next thing I knew, I was hauled off to jail. First they photographed me:
Then, they dumped me in an old prison cell at the Yuma Territory Prison.
What a day! After a minute in the jail cell, I concluded I wasn’t ready to serve my full sentence, so I sought a pardon from my wife. Thankfully, the time apart had softened her hard heart from the brutal, near-death experience at the wheels of the train. We forgave and forgot, then we toured the Yuma Territorial Prison Historic State Park. It was a pretty interesting place.
“I’m looking for a decent condition CJ5 or CJ6 Tub, or a full Flat Fender body. Im located in North Central IA and will pay to ship or travel obviously.
“A short history of this 1962 Jeep Willys Utility Wagon: it was originally purchased in late 1962 by Motherlode Bank of Placerville, CA for use by the bank in evaluating rural properties for potential mortgages. The president of the bank bought the truck from the bank when he retired, and he left it to his son who later gave it to his nephew, who kept it on a farm near Modesto, CA. The nephew later sold it to a northern California real estate appraiser who was evaluating the farm and saw it in a barn, and he sold it to me in 2010. I found the vehicle online and had it shipped to Georgia, after many discussions with the owner and a thorough inspection in California. Continue reading →
