Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Bantam Trailer 1949 T3-C post WW11 trailer, very nice condition with no rust, still has the 1&7/8″ Fulton coupler and correct landing leg and safety chains. Has California permanent plate and is registered in my name so no surprise at DMV. Tail lights are hooked up and working Ready to hook up and go”
Looks like there’s some parts value here. Too bad it is so far away for most folks.

The March 1956 issue of Willys News alerted sales people and dealers to the rising interest in jeep clubs. They recommended getting involved and encouraging the growing phenomenen.

“Got several Arizona Willys classics for sale. All need tender loving care but the bodies are in great shape and are pretty much complete (except the FC). Got a 1960 Willys pickup with the 226 Hurricane flathead 6. Got the Willys wagon that I had the upholstery done on, its in the shed. Got an awesome, pretty much rust free FC170 but its missing the engine and trans and seats. Restore to original or put your 4BT Cummings or whatever in it. Also have a running/ driving 1981 Jeep Wagoneer, the tranny needs work but I drove it up from Strawberry. Willing to deal to fund another salt racer but don’t lowball me please. Also have an extra pickup cab, front end and misc parts and pieces. Buy it all or parts and pieces. You can call my 10 cents a minute cell, I’ll take your number and call you back on my home number.”
