About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I built this Jeep starting in the summer of 2005. It was completely stripped down to nothing and built from the ground up by myself and my father in our garage. Theres alot of custom work, body being the biggest, i saved the original cowl section and built the body off that. All new sheet metal was utilized in the body tub. Reproduction tailgate, windshield frame, fenders, hood and grille are utilized also. The roof is made by Kelly Ironworks, it’s in amazing condition! It spent most of it’s life in storage. I completely stripped the doors, new window tracks were installed, the original glass is still there, it does have some scratches from over the years. I found keys for the locks so the interior can be secured when the doors are on. The windows roll up and down fine. There is a lockable storage compartment under the passenger seat. Paint is enamel. “Built on a 1973 CJ5. This is a purpose-built ice racer that runs great and needs nothing. Buy it today and go race it this weekend.
*Small block Chevy 350 with Roller Rockers, with high performance cam, high performance ignition, headers and new carborator (recent engine work done by Western Engine with lots of receipts) Engine is worth $5,000 alone.
*Turbo 350 automatic transmission
*Roll cage/racing seats with harnesses
*Fuel cell
*Battery shut off switch
*Adjustable coil over shocks
This is a Hot Rod in a Jeep! It is a purpose-built ice racer; no title or registration. It passed tec and is stickered for the “Our Gang Ice Racing” season for 2016 on Georgetown Lake. I was planning to race this season, but my schedule has changed and I have to work weekends. My loss; your gain. ”
