About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a very RARE 1971 CJ5 Jeep backhoe with a go for digger backhoe factory conversion. Ran two years ago, it have a few hydraulic hoses that need to be replaced. NO TRADES. Call or text with any questions. Emails will be deleted. I have the front dozer blade, just not shown in pictures.”
UPDATE: Listed as a tug, this is more likely a modified CJ-5.
“Possibly one of the rarest Jeep CJ5 of the 70s
Although I have slightly modified the seat and put a different set of wheels I have not seen another one like it.
A total blast to drive! This Jeep was born as an airport tug or as a special vehicle that was used to pull and park airplanes in the 70s
This belonged to a small airport for commercial flights around the Inland Empire county
This is the only one known to make it out of there alive
I believe the airport commissioned Jeep to make 4 Jeep TUGS to be built
3 of them were dismantlement once the airport was closed down. Continue reading →

John shared this article. Daniel Stohl from Hemmings reported on Fiat-Chrysler’s 75th anniversary photo shoots, noting that many jeep folks (like me) would consider this the 76th year of the jeep. But, that detail aside, there were some beautiful pics taken. Check some of them out at Hemmings:
Seth spotted the patch below for sale on eBay. The Flatlanders 4-Wheelers club was incorporated February 11, 1976, in Amherst, Ohio. The patch was likely part of an estate sale, based on the seller’s comments on eBay.
“Large 8 x 5.5” (meant for the back of a jacket), 1970’s “Flat Landers 4 Wheelers” Jeep Club Patch.
Has to be sewn on, I didn’t know how to sew, I just kept it, HARD TO FIND!
Was kept in a drawer many years, looks JUST LIKE NEW!”
“If your wanting one of these include your number due to so much spam. Yes you are reading this correctly!! I make and sell unique Military Collector Radios! This listing is for a USMC Jerrycan that has been converted into a portable radio. It has 4 marine Pyle speakers in it that are powered by an 800 watt marine amp! This unit also has a 12 volt power supply built into it that you recharge with your trickle charger. This one also has bedliner sprayed on it. You can plug in anything with a Headphone type plug! I used an Ipad, IPhone as well as a MP3 player on it and sounds awesome. Makes a killer statement when you show up at your events! Parties, tailgating at games and concerts! I can also make these out of ammo cans or even pelican cases. Just ask! Great for Jeep guys as well! If you want something custom it will require a deposit. Depending on what’s wanted on them it can go up in price! ”
Ben’s family is expanding, so he’d like to trade his CJ-5 for a more practical jeep, such as a Willys wagon, Jeepster Commando, or even an early Wagoneer. The jeep needs to be in the same condition as his Jeep. If interested, you can contact him at (907)347- 2 3 6 6.
