UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
(03/23/2015) Seller lists this as a M-38, but it appears to have a MB/GPW body and fenders.
“1951 Willy’s Jeep for sale. I am 72 and cannot get in and out of this Jeep. This is the only reason I am selling it. This Jeep has had $15,000.00 in work done to it. Comes with all the paperwork. Runs excellent.”

Year? CJ-3A? Broads, TX $3000
Seller lists this as a 1942, but it looks civilian to me.
“Really good project…got it in a trade and wanted to restore it but don’t have the time…Runs and 4×4 works but brakes do not….Solid Jeep…needs some TLC but we’ll worth the money”
Marx Jeep Toy Hamden, CT $150
Tim spotted this. The back seat has been bent backwards. Some of these have the steering wheel attached to the dash, while others, like this, have the steering wheel attached to a box. One of these is currently on eBay for $50.
“All metal Willys Jeep from the 1940s. Shows the use that a war time jeep might. Complete with spare, folding windshield and liftable hood.”
1956 Wagon Body Quakertown, PA **Status Unknown**
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1500.
Steve spotted this ad. Looks like a good body.
“I am selling my Willys project. This wagon was brought home from Phoenix AZ four years ago. The body is far from perfect, but is largely rust free. The wheel wells were chopped by a previous owner, and the lower rear sheet metal was mashed, so I removed it. The firewall has been partially removed do to a hack job V8 swap in its prior life. The front floors need to be replaced as they are stressed cracked.
What is included:
– New front floor pans (4 pieces)
– Body tub
– Front fenders
– Hood
– Grille
– Original Seats
If you are looking for a Willys Wagon project, this is a great piece to start from. The unrestored wagons from this neck of the woods are rust buckets. Though this truck is not perfect, it is very solid.”
Pedal Jeep Jarrettsville, MD $1275
Doug shared this interesting pedal jeep. I can’t identify it. For the price, a person could get a real jeep.
“Antique WWII Jeep Pedal Car , one of a kind, has a horn and headlights, shock absorbers, adjustable seat and pedals, made of heavy gauge metal, very unique. I might be interested in some trades of old military items.”
January 1962 CJ-3B Brochure
CJ-3B Drag Racer and Plow Jeep
The September 1961 issue of Hot Rod Magazine included this reader-submitted photo. The owner explained that the jeep did well as a drag racer (in the stock 4cyl class I’m sure) when they weren’t using it as a plow jeep.
Propane Powered Generator Pollock Pines, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Here’s an interesting item. It’s powered by a Hercules engine (according to the seller).
“This is a commercial propane backup generator that was installed in a fire station. It was working when removed. It is approximately 20kw. The best part is the engine is the same engine that was in production Willy’s at the time. It is powered by 1960s Jeep Hercules 6 cylinder flat head. Please call for more info and to take a look.
Cash only and sales will be made in person.’
