Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have too many projects so it’s time for this one to go, it’s a 1949 Willys truck, the bed has been shortened about 1 1/2 feet. No motor but it does have the original tranny and transfer case, 70s jeep Wagoneer Dana 44’s front and rear, only asking $500 for quick sale. I was going to build a rat rod out of it but it could be a nice crawler. The Dana 44’s and the tailgate are worth $500 alone so don’t try to lowball me. No paperwork bill of sale only.”
