About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a very straight, zero rust Willys that setup for a small block Chevy… It has a Muncie m20 with 4×4 box.. Comes with the headers for small block Chevy… Have all the body parts and clean CA title… Thx Travis”
“this is not your average jeep, which are great vehicles but this is above and beyond your normal jeep!all running gear in this jeep is custom, great vehicle! the body is solid and in great condition for its age. you will be hard pressed to find another one like this one! start with scout all wheel drive differentials, scout 4spd transmisson and transfer case. factory made conversion kit and adapter plate for small block chevy! not sure of chevy v-8 cubic inchs but looks like 283 or 327. old man i bought it from was gonna do a project with his son, unfortunatly he passed away. engine turns over,[not frozen], needs some parts before would be able to fire it up.or drop your ready to run smallblock. has heater, elect. wipers, turn signals and horn button on steering wheel, excellent metal hardtop doors have roll-up windows, all doors and windows work. call jeff for more info, lots of stuff. will make the ultimate jeep, with some work.”
Someone posted these photos from the Tennessee Museum of Aviation (Sevierville, Tennessee) on the G503 Facebook page. I didn’t get the guy’s name and the post is too old for me to locate him. Looks like a fair number of jeeps there. The CJ-3B originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, might be the most interesting of all the vehicles. I wonder how it landed in Tennessee.

UPDATE: There are two of these rare early Pee Chees on eBay.
“Vintage, these have wear consistant with use and age. Small tears at the bottom edges where the inner pockets start, subject names written in pencil at the top edges. Overall, good condition for their age.”
“This is a really nice vehicle. This is not a military vehicle, it is the first year civilian model. New Tires, Fresh Clutch, New Exhaust, New wiring harness, Radiator has been re-cored, Runs and drives well, does not smoke, Has been converted to 12 volt and all 6 volt components come with the vehicle. All gauges and lights work. Phone”
“Original engine and tranny, very good frame, mechanically sound jeep. motor was rebuilt a couple thousand miles ago. top is in good condition, wheels and tires have low miles on them, mild suspension lift, fender flares, lock out hubs, fiberglass body is in great condition.
I am 28 now, and have had the Jeep since I was 14. restored it at age 18 and it has sat in a garage most of the time since then. this jeep was tastefully built and gets a lot of compliments. 814.590.59five.seven. I do not need help selling this. I just don’t have the garage space to keep this anymore.”
Seller lists one jeep as a 1946 MB, but it looks more like a CJ-2A. The green jeep has a swoop entry that is similar to the prototypes, but the dash looks standard.
“Black Jeep is a 1946 MB needs work might be used for parts or great for winter restoration . Green one Jeep is a 1942 Willys MB also would work well for a restoration project or parts, needs engine, frame is solid. Front and rear lockers on axles. Also have extra parts. Thanks for looking”
