This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/02/2016) Seller thinks this fits a CJ-5, but it looks like it’s on a flattie.
“Hard top for a jeep . It is aluminum and I believe it will fit a cj5 or cj7. It is a little to big for a willys Jeep but could be modified to fit one.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
Though no pics have been provided, I have added a brochure to show these were advertised for the CJ-2A at one point. Here is more info on these. I didn’t know it had supports to mount it in the rear.

“Parting out a early 50s Willys m38 army Jeep. Extremely rusty and modified body. Has a Dauntless v6 engine. Frame looks to be in decent shape, but may have some modifications. Parts may fit cj jeeps as well. Not selling the VIN tag.
Front Axle – $100 – no drive flanges
Rear Axle – $100 – needs a diff cover
Hood – $20 – Has some rot on inner brace
Engine – $100 – v6 Buick, unsure of condition

(07/24/2016) Has a variety of updates. Not drivable. Seller is willing to negotiate.
“1948 willys jeep has a buick v6 motor good Running but not driveable at the moment. Needs some steering work done before its drivable. Has had alot of upgrades done to it for more information please call. Price is not firm throw me an offer!”
Patrick spotted a photo of Grace Kelly on the front of a CJ-3A, which led me to find other photos. The photo shoot was part of a fundraiser for the Stevens School, the high school from which she graduated. Grace and the Jeep are in front of her childhood home. The photo was taken shortly after her sudden rise to fame in her first big movie role, High Noon with Gary Cooper. That set her on the path to fame and, several years later, to marrying Prince Rainier of Monaco.

“1946 WILLYS CJ-2A JEEP – 86K MILES – CIVILIAN JEEP – All original and in amazing shape a 1946 CJ-2A Civilian Jeep. The previous owner put this jeep into many Car shows in New York state, florida, etc. It has been garage kept and is in great all original condition. It includes a number of extras. It has a new canvas top and new tires, manual wiper, 6 volt battery, etc. Runs and drives great!”

“1944 Willys Jeep… Excellent conditions, runs great! Many extras including a Warn Winch. Great for a hunting lease.”
