Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has some interesting mods, such as a gauge swap and the steering wheel swap (Hudson?). It also appears to have full floating rear hubs.

No battery, so unclear if this runs or how long it has been sitting. That said, the seller is correct. This a pretty stock jeep with a Koeng hardtop. The rear passenger quarter panel does have some bondo.

Seller writes, “.. it runs but new carburetor so it dies without gas …” … don’t they all die without gas? Note the lack of hood latches, bench seat and custom windshield.

“1953 willy’s jeep cj-3b. Clean title up to date tag with paperwork it runs but new carburetor so it dies without gas. It has been converted to a 12volt system and too a electric fuel pump. upgrades include -New 12v battery -New electric fuel pump -New starter solenoid -New fuel lines -New carburetor -New starter haven’t got installed but i will before you pick it up -New plugs have not installed yet -new oil change.”

“1953 Willys 453-GB2. Has run recently. Built by my father from a variety of mismatched parts. Needs brakes, tires and battery. I also have an extra radiator, tie rods, starter, and all the dash gauges and lights to go with it. Clean title. Located in Boise/Nampa idaho”
