It’s a project, but unclear what all needs to be done.
“Selling a 1940’s military willys. I do have some documents for the vehicle. Needs body work but most important the original 4 cylinder engine is not in it! For whatever reason the previous owner put a V-6 in it. Other wise great project car, solid, and a wonderful piece of history. Please call if you are interested between respectable hours of the day.”

Has manifolds and distributor. the bell housing on the t90 transmission is for an f-head motor I think, has the t18 transfercase with crossmember and skidplate. the engine stand would also go with if you’re interested. I have an engine hoist and a pickup If you need help moving. call or text works best, scams will be ignored,”

(07/23/2016)The body looks in reasonably good shape.
“I have a 1947 CJ2A chassis with an aftermarket MB body. Jeep has been sitting outside for 15+ years. Body and frame are in exceptional shape despite this. Hood, windshield frame and grill have been kept inside and are perfect. Have some parts…see pics. Motor is locked up but not frozen, trans is as well. broke a spark plug also, again, see pics. Have paper work. Price is firm.”

The January 1944 issue of the Canadian Home Journal featured a baby and jeep on its cover. This particularly magazine was advertised for sale on Facebook.

“Great 1940s lithograph toy in good condition from Badger Cutouts of NY. Set has been punched. Bag is in good condition, see pictures. Has been previously assembled. It is packed in bubble wrap and mailed in a new cardboard reinforced padded envelope.”

“Selling a 1946 willy’s jeep cj2a. All original. Runs drives and stops buts needs a lot of work. Just been using it around the property because it was cheaper than a mule or ranger.”

Most importantly, does it fire live rounds? lol … I wonder why the rear rims are a dark semi-gloss that doesn’t match everything else? Learn more about the M-38A1C.
