About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I am 80 now and the wife says all the project have to go–. This is another project I just do not have time for.
Cab Forward Jeeps were produced from 1957 thru 1965 this one is a 1959 model, short wheel base (81″), the four cylinder motor is 134 cubic inches and rated at 75hp. The first thing I did with this vehicle was to disassemble it and take all sheet metal inside and out to the blaster once that was done red oxide primer was shot on all the bare metal. The cab was then placed back on the chassis. This is as far as I have got on this project. This vehicle when I purchased it did not have a bed, we drove it 8 miles from the purchase site to my place of business. All the gears and the 4wd worked as they should have. This is a roller”
“Just in time for Fall Hunting and Pumpkin Chunkin!
Thinning the collection of vehicles and the Willys is next to go.
She had frame off resto in 2006. this included…
Frame –
Stripped down to frame – welded all holes and cracks – Painted with OD Green Lacquer
Suspension reworked with lifted springs and a spring-over – Painted with OD Green Lacquer
Body –
Nice fiberglass tub painted with bed liner, now white plastic dip. Since its fiberglass there is no rust and since it weighs virtually 200 lbs, this thing hauls ass up until 35-40mph. Not geared for highway use. Continue reading →
“Rare Jeep FC-170, complete truck, but realize this is a project, I pulled it out of a field in Kansas this last April, where it sat for 22 years. I have a title but it is a Kansas title in the original owners name. The truck has some questionable body work(Bondo) but it is all there. IT DOES NOT RUN NOR DOES IT HAVE BRAKES. The original 6 cyl motor is free and with some gas and a battery it should start, as the carb has been rebuilt, has new wires and plugs, and fresh oil. I have the original Jeep Rims and other parts that will go with it. I lost interest in this and just would like to move it along, price is negotiable but don’t make any offers with out coming to look at it, Cash only!! ”
Seller has listed this as a 1952, but it has a CJ-2A body and windshield.
“Have a 52 Willys jeep
Original 4 cylinder running and driving
No knocks or noises
Everything is pretty much original except the rims and tires
I have a extra transfer case
I’m not sure if the 4wd works but your welcome to try it
The body is decent no rust holes
There is some bondo here and there with cracks it’s a 10 footer not a show machine a classic cruiser
Factory 3 speed
Original seats Continue reading →

Was a running hunting jeep was running when parked. Just had an oil leak. Oil pan was pulled to replace gasket but was never put back together. Oil pan is on now. Would be a great project.”

GOOD TIRES AND BRAKES ..STARTS ON FIRST CRANK EVERYTIME. INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND IT IS A TRUE WORKHORSE ASKING 3200.00 O.B.O. ALL REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE STRONGLY CONSIDERED CALL…”
The seller said that this has coil springs between the leaf springs and frame. There is some bondo and rust. The tub is resting on some lumber that’s wedged between the frame and tub. It has sat since the 1980s. The engine might be a GPW/MB. It runs and shifts ok, but needs new brakes, master and tires at the very least.
“Original Jeep Willys CJ2A with all original parts. 6 volt system, all glass is good. Motor was replaced in 1974 and was military surplus remanufactured engine. Less then 5000 miles on the engine. Last plated in 1987. Been garage stored with plans to restore until just last week. Great candidate for restoration. Drove from storage to current location. Starts right up. Needs brakes, tires, gas tank repaired and a battery. Will need to be trailered to new home. ”
“1951 Willys wagon. 350 Olds with aluminum intake and valve covers and headers. B&M shifter and black bucket seats. Believe it is a 350 turbo transmission. GM 5 lug rearend and Mopar front suspension with rack and pinion. Don’t know condition of engine as never tried to start it. Body is solid and not much rust. No title, sorry. ”
