About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1951 Willys M38A1 military jeep, has hard top (metal), doors, tow bar, bow for soft top (no soft top included). Inspected but not currently registered (expired June 2015). Clean, good tires. Original 4 cylinder motor, converted to 12 Volt. This jeep is fun to drive, but is is very low geared so it is not made for driving on the highway. No power steering or power brakes.”

Are those tire chains on the front? If not, that’s a lot of chains!
“1947 Jeep Willy. It has a ton of machancial work done to it..over three grand in labor at a local mechanic(invoices to prove).runs very good..I’ve painted it to stop it from rusting further..comes with a plow and all four tire chains, bakini top and spare tire..tires are older but still good for town and plowing the drive way..it needs some work but it’s far from being restored..I’m open to offers and trades.this is a safe plow jeep for any driveway or a hunting vehicle..or just bouncing around the property toy.”
Appears to be value here. Some pics show this together and others show it apart.
“I have for sale an original 1946 cj2a Willys jeep for sale. All original needs restoration. Has been partially gone through complete frame reprinted with rust proof paint, all new brakes, brake lines, new shocks etc. running and driving but still needs complete final restoration. Body is one of the nicest ones I’ve seen with only minimal rot/rust. Original style tires with great tread and no rot hold air fine. Have all parts except roof and doors, window frame is in roughest shape but complete. Have all fenders, hood, grille, lights, tailgate etc. many new parts under hood all new hoses and belts. New oil filter installed cause when I got it there wasn’t one on it. Have had for so many years just no time to complete. Only has like 40,xxx original miles have run down road many times and in woods just to take little joy rides. Also have many new parts in boxes for it just lost interest to complete….. Located in Sanford Maine please contact Jason for more details. $1650 obro don’t need to sell so please no low ball offers.”
This was an interesting read. The price does not include rebuilt tranny, transmission or front and rear axles. Based on the pics provided, it doesn’t appear these were removed during this full restoration.
“We are willing to consider all reasonable offers against our discounted $19,800 asking price for this 96% complete total M38A1 restoration.”
Craig spotted this one. It is rough, but may have some parts value.
“1962 Willys Wagon… for parts or what ever. Super Hurricane engine has been stripped of many parts and may be seized. Rear axle/differential is missing as well… I just threw one off of a pickup to be able to pull it out. Asking $300 obo.”

“WILLYS JEEP CJ3B 1956
For sale is a barn find 1956 Willys Jeep CJ3B. The body has been redone several years ago and is still very solid. It has been inside stored for the last 10 years. Motor is a 134 F head 4 cylinder and runs very well. Transmission shifts great with no issues. The 4wd works as it should. The frame is in very good condition. Comes with a matching spare tire and wheel (not shown). That is not sheet metal on the sides of the body its just an ugly foil someone put on it. The windshield is plexiglass and needs to be replaced with a glass one. The brakes do not work and some rewiring will be necessary. This would be a very nice Jeep to restore because it is very complete or just fix it up and play with it. It has a clear Michigan title.”
