About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I really had to stare at this one for a while. I *think* this is might be a 2A with some 3B and wagon parts. But, it also has full floaters in the rear. I like the “original” flathead engine that is actually an f-head.
“1948 Willys Jeep with flat head 4 cyc original engine, manual, 4×4, all matching numbers…. this jeep has plowed our snow for years….”
Seller lists one M-38A1 as a “1950”, but the earliest they were produced was 1952.

“Big USA & Military Jeep history here!
This Jeep is very solid and retains many of its original parts. It has been re-powered at some point with a slightly later model jeep engine. Has newer tires, runs drives and stops real well. Has original data plate and matching frame number tag.
In my name & C urrently CA registered through October 2017”
Has OD and a V-8. It also has a variety of mods in the front frame area.
“I’m selling my 48 CJ2A it’s a great little willys. Runs great and with the overdrive it will do 50.Has a small block Ford in it now and a warn overdrive. New tires! I installed a brand new wiring harness in it last winter and all the lights are new. Has a Harrison heater that will melt your legs! Comes with a really nice BestTop soft top and full doors. Transmission is tight and doesn’t slip out of 2nd gear like most of them do. Brand new radiator. New seats front and back. Also has new seat belts. New Napa gold lifetime warranty alternator. New MB 9 Slot grille, I like the look of them, but I have the stock grille and it’s in good shape. Have many spare parts including a complete, torn down, L134 engine that go with it. I have some other spare parts for it as well. The body is in decent shape, the hat channels need replaced and part of the floor pans as well. They have sheet metal patches over them now. I can answer any questions you have. Price is negotiable. Looking for trades but only a Wrx, supra, 240sx or other fun car.”
“Clear Texas Title in my name and in-hand! This Jeep is ready for the ranch or deer lease. It is not currently street legal, but can be with a little work. It is also not a candidate for a Concours restoration in my opinion, but you would have to make that decision yourself. If still interested, keep reading. . .
1954 Willys Jeep CJ3B with original Hurricane F Head engine. Running and driving. 4wd works. Shifts smooth. Needs brake work. I have a new master cylinder, just haven’t installed it yet. Continue reading →
“1956 Jeep Truck – The truck has the 6 cylinder hurricane motor that runs. It has a 6 volt system, but the truck needs to have the electrical system re-wired. The bench seat has been re-done and I have a title for the truck. ”
“1956 Jeep Willys, long wheel base CJ-6. Chevy 327, three speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, hanging pedal assembly, Odyssey Battery, etc. Registered and running, but needs a good going through and critical system safety check. Needs a handful of repairs to be road worthy, and should be considered a project(Easy for the right mechanical person). Please email me with your name and phone number, and I will call you back quickly. ”
Katey’s is selling their beloved and trust trail-modified MB. It’s listed on the title as a 1942, but the serial number stamped into the dash plates of MB 383180 puts it as a 1944. However, the plate is obviously aftermarket. I’ve suggested she check for the serial number on the frame and body gusset. Contact her at katey@pioneermillwork.com if interested.
“1942 MB with original engine and drive train that has been used as a trail jeep. It is perfect as is or could be converted back to original MB if desired. It does have the matching numbers . As you can see all of the original plates are still on the dash. The body does have a couple spots of rust but not through . I do still have the original back seat that is in good condition we took it out when we put the on board air.
We mostly did 4 wheel drive runs in the jeep or Sunday drives it was by far the most fun vehicle we owned . We only towed by trailer if we took it long distance. I think it only has like 13,000.00 miles on it. We have made a few modifications to it. I have everything listed below that I am aware of.
Modifications made
Roll Bar
Spring over suspension
On board air
Tilt wheel.
Air Brakes
Warn winch”
