About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I will not hold, first with cash owns it. Will trade for cash and firearms.
Runs and has title! I bought as a project, was going to bed line it, lift it and run around to the bars….HOA says I cannot keep it here as I do not have garage space.
My loss is your gain. Far from perfect, see photos, but tons of fun and priced right. Needs lights before it can be inspected and registered……but no emissions needed due to model year. F-head motor from later year.”
“1984 AM General mail jeep. Needs a new started, but the engine runs good. Was supposed to be my first car but don’t have time and money to make it so. Have both sliding doors for it.”
(06/09/2015) The hood modification gives it a meaner look.

UPDATE: Was on eBay. This was recently spotted on a documentary called “Hitler’s Last Stand”
Here’s an odd one. It’s was supposed to have been a movie prop. Seller has been trying to verify it was in a movie, but hasn’t been able to locate it yet.
“Vey rare one of a kind movie prop. vw six wheel german army afrika korps
Made to look like a 1940’s volkswagon kubelwagen, the german army jeep
This was a multi use prop it doubled as a troop carrier, a staff car, had tank tracks for the side to make it look like a half track for background shots but those
are long gone
“This is a running, well maintained, 1946 CJ2A that I’ve owned since 1968, and kept it garaged. The speedo has always worked since I’ve owned it and I believe mileage is accurate at 78,766. No front end shimmy. Title is clear. The doors are easily removed by pushing out the hinge pins and the rear upper gate removes like a storm window. the entire cab can be removed by unscrewing four large wing nuts around the back, and two j-Bolts holding the roof to windshield frame. Price includes lots of new and used parts.
EI: Clutch and pressure plates, front axels, U-Joints, Carburetor, differential (New still in cosmoline), windshield wiper vacuum motor, new in the box sealed beam headlight, complete military shop manual, tie rods and ends, water pumps and much more….”
“I have for sale a 1950 Willys Wagon. It has a Ford 302 ,a new rebuilt C-4,power steering, power drum brakes, new tires, new upolstery and headliner. In overall good shape.I also have the orginal bumpers and brackets. It has all new rubber and weather strpping around windows and doors.”
“This jeep is in very good condition. It has been garaged for 20 years. It has a new rebuilt transmission with a new clutch. Re-wired through out and a re-built generator. It has the original engine. It needs minor work. IE brake leak fluid at the drums. The ignition key was lost and one of the transmission covers leaks gear oil.
It has gun racks and the back removable seat. This jeep has not ran for 20 years and will need some TLC.”
