About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Unclear if this is $500 a piece or total. The multi-colored truck appears to have an original push bumper.
“I am selling these 3 old Jeeps, I don’t know much about them, titles have not yet been found but maybe will be. Would prefer to sell them as parts and all three at once. Any other questions or to set up view feel free to call or email.”
“I have a 1955 Willys jeep almost all original including driver lol all parts included has windshield doors and roofs a hunters special including a gun rack text for more info have paperwork in hand does need work but a good deal for the right person willing to appreciate the knowledge and time only 23k miles on a rebuilt engine NOT IN RUNNING CONDITION”
Seller is overseas and the title is in SC, while jeep is in VA.
“I bought this old jeep around a year ago to restore it but don’t have the time or money so it’s for sale.
It is a 1948 Willys CJ2A. This jeep is solid to be as old as it is. It is all original and needs to be brought back to life. I believe the engine can be rebuilt because it is not seized.
This jeep is defiantly a project vehicle and requires a lot of work, but it’s solid enough to be brought back to life, and again I don’t have the time but I am not giving it away so please make a reasonable offer. your starting point is $3000, but I will work with someone if you are interested.
I have the title but am currently over seas and will be returning in a couple of months. If you are interested in the jeep and would like to see it, It is located at my father’s house and he would be more than glad to get it out of his drive way so stopping by to see it won’t be an issue. Please email any questions.
Also please note what I mentioned above, that I am over seas. The title is in Myrtle beach, I am over seas, and the jeep is in VA, so I will address any inquires or questions through email and respond as soon as possible.”
Alex found this unusual photo on a French website (no credit was give for the photo). He thought it a historical re-enactement of the allied landing in Southern France in 1944. I think she might be photoshopped into the image (not sure). Certainly, the photo leaves little to the imagination.

Jason is selling his 1943 MB. It is mechanically sound, with an older restoration and replacement tub. It needs final accessories and correct drab green paint to complete restoration. You can contact Jason here: Jason.smith5@verizon.net or 941-799-1019.
“You’re looking at a ground-up restoration of a classic Jeep Willys CJ-2 “Alpha”. Restoration was finished in mid-2013.
I spared nothing in this rebuild. I have been a Willys fan all my life, and I wanted this to be right down to every last detail. This project took months and became quite involved.
The rebuild includes:
* Fully rebuilt engine and transmission
* Completely new clutch assembly
* New brakes, drums and brake lines
* New springs (front and rear)
* New gas tank
* New gauges and wiring
* New front seats and steering wheel
* New rims and tires
* New paint
Mechanically, it’s flawless. Drives perfectly and true to its heritage. Power plant is the stock Willys 2.2L “134” 4-cylinder, and transmission is the famous Willys 3-speed, which is reliable and bulletproof in its simplicity. Only ~200 miles on rebuild.”
“1942 Willys-Overland – $22,000
Plain and Simple: You will not find one as clean and mechanically sound as this one. 50 caliber gun mount still there. Fully street legal and fully tagged, ready for anything you want to throw at it. Customized for Off Road, however drives great on road. Virtually every mechanical part is brand new. I have invested approximately $30,000 of which I have all the receipts for. Work was either professionally performed or brand new mechanical parts meticulously installed with new gaskets and proper torque settings. Looks great in pictures and even better in person. I am selling because I don’t have the time to use it and it is taking up needed space in garage. Stored in garage every day since ownership. It has been on the Rubicon Trail 3 times with ease, never sustaining any damage, getting stuck, or need for winch. Below is a sample of the upgrades/mods that were performed:
“This is a 1956 Willys Jeep-A-Trench. Comes complete with the original engine, transmission and all Jeep-A-Trench components. Also comes with the rare original engine governor. I have the original pink slip title with the matching black California license plates. I also purchased another Jeep-A-Trench Willys jeep for parts. So you also get an extra engine, transmission, and complete Jeep-A-Trench setup (there is one just like it currently advertised on eBay for $5,500). I have two digging chains; one with cups for soft soil and one with spikes for hard soil. I paid $600 for all new bearings for the digger chain wheels. I have all four auger screws. Lot’s of good and rare documents included. Extra “Electrolift” for the front blade included as well. This jeep is complete with the original front blade and counterweight too. I have many body and many misc parts that go with this jeep; extra steering column and box, extra drive shafts, excellent gas tank, etc.”
