Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Toms shared this nicely restored CJ-3A. My only two very minor quibbles (given the price) is that it is missing the gutter where the hood meets the body, it’s got an incorrect oil bracket for a 3A (again, minor complaints).

“I have two jeep trucks, 1947 and a 1948. The 47 is 2wd the other is a half of a 4×4 that still has a motor and transmission.The 2wd one has no motor or transmission, and the frame is bad. Figured we will have them listed until my husband gets around to scrapping them, which will be soon”

My father bought it in newyork and had the intentions to restore it but needs the space for other projects. Also comes with all original bantam trailer that has been sandblasted primed and painted”
