Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This Jeep is a true military version, with the original green paint showing through beneath the yellow repaint.
The hard top is authentic, as are the wooden doors which I have included photos of a restored jeep with the same top and doors.
My Jeep has been parked for many years, motor is stuck, brakes not working, but this is pretty complete.
Minimal rust
I only have a bill of sale, as a past owner lost the title many years ago.

great bones jeep
Perfect for a father/ son project restoration.
– engine turns, not seized.
-great frame
-decent tires
-bathtub is rusted at corners close to the engine, only in those two places
but the rest was fixed. The bed and rest of floors are new!
-of course, with this vehicles, no VIN, and NO tags.
-windshield is very weak, needs welding to be solid
I will sell it with a Bill of sale
I have the fenders for it
The hood is in great shape

I will include an front differential with steering arms and an extra engine block for spare parts.

Dan spotted this. I’d never heard of it. I found the history of it here. Apparently they were designed for racing, hot rods, and muscle cars. Hone-O-drive is once again making these.
“Under drive over drive transmission Assm new never been installed. Sat under my neighbors shelve in his garage for 20 years he was going to install it in a jeep I believe but his wife wasn’t sure ..I really do not know much about it except it is still like new unused …well I just sold my old willys so it is up for sale. It turns very easily and smoothly and has never had oil in it or installed in a vehicle Hope someone can use it”

Engine needs some work. The hardtop is fiberglass. Must be a custom one?
“1948 Willys Cj-2a with 5 position hydraulic lift Western snowplow. Clean title. Fiberglass cab. Newer canvas seats on old frames Spare tire and jack. Tire chains (4) (never needed the front ones) Rebuilt generator. Some parts including oil filter and extra carburetor. Plexiglass side and rear windows. Headlights and wiper works. Water in oil. Needs throwout bearing.”
No drains holes and a large speedometer. Maybe a DJ-3A body?
