About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1946 Willys CJ2A. Has been stored in basement for years, and a barn before that. Engine is not locked up. Original motor. Will start and run if you manually pour gas in carb. Would be an awesome project, I just never found the time to put into it. Prefer text or email. Clean TN title in hand.”

“Great Korean War vintage 1952 M38 Jeep. This is military surplus, not a CJ-2 civilian model. Very fun to drive, unrestored, all original except for a new gas tank. New batteries, 24v system. Great to run around the farm or put in a parade. Dull OD green, not a shiney finish to attract the enemies’ attention. My wife did not like driving it near as much as I did.”
Seth discovered this ex-Safari Ride jeep at the corporate headquarters of Sweetwater, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The fiberglass jeeps were built by Bradley & Kaye and Fort Wayne Zoo visitors used to ride in them as they toured the zoo’s African Veldt. The African Veldt exhibit opened in the 1970s and closed in the mid 2000s. It was replaced by the African Journey’s sky ride.
David Bradley, the ‘Bradley’ in Bradley and Kaye, had a long history with amusement parks. In 1946 David Bradley opened up the Beverly Park amusement park in southern California. His park inspired Walt Disney to the point that Bradley became a consultant for Walt on Disneyland. At some point Bradley became connected to the Bradley and Kaye manufacturing plant, which created fiberglass carousel molds and children’s rides. In 1974 Beverly Park closed. In the1980s Bradley and Kaye went out of business. In 1987 Chance Amusements acquired the Bradley and Kaye assets. Much more history on Bradley here. David Bradley passed away in 1988.
Here’s a photo of a similar jeep in action at the Fort Wayne zoo. Note it operates on a guided track (from pinterest).
Those are some way-back seats, as in they are leaning way back. What’s the box underneath the passenger side? On the plus side, it runs and drives.

“1955 Willy’s Wagon, runs, drives, fresh glass, new tires, new clutch, fresh carburator rebuild, etc. Many items recently rebuilt or serviced. Original 4 cyl Willy’s engine and 3 speed manual transmission working excellent.
Beautiful original type wood strips in the cargo area. Rear seat removes in seconds.
Some spare parts included as shown. The hard stuff is done, a few minor items like headliner, finishing rear seat upholstry (new vinyl there, just not finished) and getting the heater working remain. Finding a few trim strips remain as well. I bought it late summer to use for marketing a business, have decided not to do so, so it is available.
Other Willy’s Wagons currently offered are total projects, this one you could drive home from my location! ”
“Up for sale is a 1962 Jeep CJ6. The body is in decent shape. Runs strong. It has been used at our hunting camp for years. All new master cylinder, pads, wheel cylinders, and brake lines. Winch in front bumper. Great for restoration or blasting around in the woods.”
