Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1956 Wills Wagon. 350 Chevy V8 Engine totally redone. Won 2nd place in truck division in only car show attended. Needs minor body work on hood and over right rear wheel well. NO RUST! Comes with extras, new headliner and other items already purchased for truck.”

It is missing steps.
“Garage kept for past 15 years, less than 5000 miles on rebuilt motor (flat head 4), transmission, transfer case, steering box. It has had new stock springs and up graded brakes to 11″. Tow bar and 3000 lbs winch comes with it. Nice seats out of a Honda accord.”

(01/30/2015) Converted to four wheel drive.
“1976 DJ5D Mail Jeep. 3000, or best offer.
Professionally converted to four-wheel-drive.
Parts only, no title.
Runs, drives.
Some minor issues, cracked glass etc.
Chevy 305 V-8 with Holly carburetor.
Automatic trans, manual transfer-case.
5 brand new Grabber tires! Only driven two days, less than 100 miles!
Spare aluminum radiator, plus most of the parts to add power brakes.
RIGHT HAND DRIVE.
These are getting rare, and have become popular “rat-rods”. Raise it, or lower it.
Use it instead of a much more expensive “gator”.
Turn it into a mud-buggy. Fix it up a bit and use it for a mail or paper route!
Frame and tub/body are in good shape, very little rust. Some door seals replaced. Other seals come with but not installed.
Please,….I do not need help selling, will not ship and will only accept cash in person.
I spent last night with Ann at the Moisture Festival, an annual four-week run of comedy and variety acts that is the largest in the world (four those four weeks anyway). My aunt suggested we go and, since it was Ann’s birthday (and I’m an admittedly poor present buyer), going to see some live performances seemed like fun AND made for a great birthday evening. Yes, she’s an April Fool :-), but I’m not fool to be with her!
There were comedy acts, singing, acrobatics, juggling, and just plain silliness. If you are in Seattle during the festival I highly recommend it.
