About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willys pickup. It has been chopped 2.5 inches roof flattened with a van roof and channeled over the frame. It has a great running 292 Chevy 6 banger in it with a turbo 350 trans. It runs down the highway great. The front has been lowered and the rear has air bags and four link suspension.”
“For sale a 1949 Willys CJ2A. I have owned this jeep for 20 years and it’s been garage kept since I’ve had it. Have not attempted to start it in several years so it definitely needs some mechanical TLC but the body and frame are solid. No rust. If I remember correctly the previous owner did an off the frame restoration. I’d love to see it running again but I just don’t have the time or know how. $5,000 OBO. NO TRADES.”
“Unsure of mileage and year. Runs and plows, 4×4 works, tire chains, and no title. Will not part out! What you see is what you get. Serious buyers only!! Possibly trade for farm tractor in decent condition or hunting stuff plus cash.”
“1960 Willys restoration project. Many extras and parts. 350 chevy crate motor brand new, has new brakes and tires on it. Glass is good. Originally a California car. Have more pictures if needed. Manual transmission.”
“1946 Cj2a Willys jeep comes with the original column shift and the main components to put a pto in it. Everything is original and has been sitting in the back of the barn for years. My father bought it in newyork and had the intentions to restore it but needs the space for other projects. Also comes with all original bantam trailer that has been sandblasted primed and painted”
“1956 Willys Jeep clean title Body rough frame seems solid Engine in it is locked up but have one from a 54 along with several other parts, front and rear axles, decent tires, gas tank, steering wheel”
The photo of the jeep underneath the letter shows it without bow holders, but with an extra spare tire carrier. Does this mean the country club ordered it this way? Were the bow holders ever installed? There have been a couple early 2As that appeared unrestored, but without bow holders. I’ve wondered if they could be ordered that way.
